Mason was honest, he was told about being the starter last week. He will learn with time that pre game strategy is important too. Someone obviously yelled at him, that showed in the post game presser.
The 49ers will make the playoffs, need HFA. That's when the real season will start.

For real. Facing the media is the worst part of the job. Getting bruised and battered every week is not that bad in comparison.

If somehow we lose against the Vikes..I would expect zone to have a meltdown haha. I don't anticipate we lose though.

This feels like a Kittle game TBH with NY's secondary.
Review of what I was looking for:
- Disguising coverages, late rotations. Scheme wise looked much improved over last season.
- Run defense was great.
- Deebo didn't look that great last night; he had a few catches but it is a so-so performance. Aiyuk looked terrible. He was rusty, lets hope he gets to form soon.
- Mason looked phenomenal out there and Puni looked great as well; the team was able to run to the right! Mason ha earned a bigger role even when CMC returns. You know whos name you didn't hear last night? Quinnen Williams. Great job by this offensive line featuring Williams and a bunch of scrubs. Keep it up.
- Purdy's looked pretty good. He made smart decisions. His passes looked like they floated a lot yesterday; by design?

I think darnold is going to get wrecked by us. Giants are an awful awful team - he doesn't stand a chance against us.

Yeah, Kirk Cousins diced us up badly. it was a horrific performance by the defense. I think we will do much better this time around.
Darnold has a great arm, can make some really beautiful throws, but I think he will struggle against this defense. We will get a lot of pressure on him and have sticky coverage. I think he throws 2-3 picks.
