Should honestly look at Matt Breida. Feisty, quick kind of like CMC type player.

Guerendo still rookie and Taylor who cares…
YGM to make his debut on Sunday! Needed some good news.

Definitely some good news with YGM!
I like Sam he's a cool guy, but no way he beats us. Cousins played one of the best games of his career last season vs us and it also took injuries fluke turnovers, and all time bad defensive play calls. We score 30 again. 33-17 SF
this train doesn't stop

We can't expect Mason to perform to the level he did on Monday week in and week out

We should use Juice more
This CMC issue is one f the things we all feared. Many felt that he was lucky last year and escaped injury given all the touches he had. This is something that could linger off and on the rest of the season. Mason is good but he's no CMC.
It's almost midnight Sam..

Edit- why is it so hard to find gifs now a days? 😕

I'm hoping the offensive line performs like in the Jets game. To me the offense line is more of an unknown than Mason.

This. Good things happen when Juice is more involved. Just look at last game. In the passing game, guy catches everything. Definitely an OW that can also block as well as any FB.

Seems just as good as CMC at the moment or pretty dang close.

He going IR.

Awful

Isn't there a 4 game min he would have to miss, if that's the case?

If we put him there now, he would be back in time for Chiefs and cowboys game - followed up by a bye week. Seems like a good time to see how he does.

he missed a lot of camp, didn't play in pre season, and now will most likely miss the first 6 weeks of the season. If that doesn't heal it up - idk what will besides shutting him down all season?

idk much about achilles tendinitis or how it heals, if it does. But at this rate he will have missed like 3 months (if we Ir him for four games).

You can't line up Mason in the slot and get pro bowl caliber routes out of him, like you can with CMC. Not saying that's needed but it's a huge element of the diversity and positionless players that he brings to the offense to disguise what we are doing or to stress a defense.

Masons hands looked good on some of those plays against the jets.

im more concerned about how much damage he could take and what our backups would look like.

we went from SUPER deep (CMC, Mitchell, Mason) to SUPER shallow really fast. I doubt we can run Mason 25+ a game and not count on him getting injuries.

i suspect Kyle is going to keep running a lot with Deebo.

Matt Brieda and Jerrick McKinnon available. Although McKinnon was salty after collecting his bag and getting cut.
