No way Sam is putting up 18
We let them borrow Moody for a game and he goes 6/6 on FG's.

Man, and I guess it's a known fact, in the last 30+ years, 49ers are 0-7 in Vikings land.
What is odd is that's a lot of different coaches, diff players, diff schemes, diff game plans, ton of variations in 3 decades. Very strange that the 49ers never found a way to win there even once in that span.

With the last touchdown being garbage time again like it was with the jets.
i feel like we know what to expect from the offense but im really excited to see if the defense looks awesome again. They were loose, decisive, and played as one unit last week. It made me realize how wonky our defense was last year :/

great point, I almost forgot how frustrating the defense was last year to watch, just knowing how good the personnel is and seeing them under perform during stretches and knowing it was scheme. Monday felt so much smoother. I would love to see some pressure on Sam, maybe get him to throw a few picks. YGM will be fun to watch.
Just don't hit Darnold too hard. He's a 49er legend

Yeah, it was frustrating because we were #1 defense the previous year (2022) and then we weren't a "bad" defense last year but def a big drop off from what we were used to the previous years.
it's only one week but I really liked what I saw. I think most if us were concerned about Sorensen - just because we are unsure of what to expect ya know? I didn't think he would do bad but until proven otherwise, it's concerning.
Watching the guys fly around against the jets really shines a light on how out of sync the defense was and over thinking last year, IMO.
