Jets DL is mostly overrated. Quinnen Williams is amazing but after that it gets....bad.

Better than a blown Achilles. Sit him half the year if we have to. We got Mason and lets see what the rookie can do as well.

This. They have Minnesota minus Addison and Hockenson, Rams minus Nacua, Patriots with Brissett at QB and the Cardinals minus a pass rush coming up.

If there was ever a good time to make do without McCaffrey, its now.
I signed up for Sirius so I can get the Niner radio broadcast. The NFL has declared that Eugene, OR. is now Seahawks territory so they don't show all the games like they used to. I rarely see Seahawks fans around town but what does the NFL know. I can watch the game on NFL network assuming they show it later in the week.

exactly the key is to have CMC long term we can play a month without him

I have never been so absolutely pissed off after a game as this one lol.

Iirc that was Singletery's first season and we were 3-0 at the time and that loss started the downfall.

Mark Roman was.... and still is THE WORST safety I have ever seen. I still can't belive he gave up that play.

Nah, Ronnie Heard was the 9ers worst Safety since 2000.

I remember the play and being pissed as hell.

Looking back, I have no idea what they were doing not playing dbs way back.

This is true for much older film too. You see something like no timeouts and twenty seconds on the clock with offense needing a td to win and defense is playing base defense with one deep safety and of course the offense gets a miraculous deep ball for the win.

I think the Vikings will have a better run defense than the Jets but their pass defense will be much worse. And offensively they have more weapons than the Jets but a much worse QB. Aaron Jones scares me though, Because of what he did against us in the divisional RD.
I guess other teams have injuries too(!)

After how the team played in the first game (assuming the Jets are good), best case scenario is a 6-0 start, and then come the chiefs.
That would be a good game to win at home, let's see. Will take any big/small victories in the regular season, since that will lead to the all important HFA in the playoffs.

I rather take a loss to the Vikes than the Chiefs. I know I don't get to choose cause I would love to see them win both but if I had to choose!!! lol

Freds my fav niner LB ever

I love Fred, but Patrick at his best was probably a little bit better.
