Allllllright all you amazing zoners. It's that time of the year again - time when the real film comes out and we get to see the 49ers in all their glory. This felt like an absolutely dominant win and from the tone and what I saw, felt better than the 30-7 stomping of the Steelers last year. Lots of good stuff to get into in this game.

The missed block by Brendel on the run, eh. That was a difficult block because his assignment reacted well, and he did a great job in not holding.
But on the stunt he looked like a PF selling a charge. I just imagined him yelling at the DT not to hit him.

Great work JD!
There's a lot of brilliant ways Purdy influences the defense that just aren't seen in real time.
Dissecting the coaches tape is the only place I see a lot of these and I'm just blown away.

Really nice breakdowns on those defensive snaps. Appreciate you pointing out the differences between Sorenson and Wilks. The Warner forced fumble, and how he is allowed freedom to diagnose and fly to the ball is the best way to use his instincts.
Sorenson seemed to do well mixing things up versus Rodgers, which is the best way to defend smart veteran QBs that have seen it all. Mix it up to make them think just a little bit more. I don't think he blitzed often, and that's fine - that would just make reads easier for Rodgers. This is a good group of CBs that Sorenson has so he should feel comfortable mixing things up. My only concern is Odum at safety as I think he is more of a placeholder for when Huf comes back, or when Mustapha is ready.

Campbell and Fowles in coverage are issues as well. Once Dre is back that should help.
