Take too many trades at this point with the injuries and sickness to help this team.
Now at this point in time. Develop the young guys.

True, we'd probably have to give up something to send them elsewhere

I mean Jag and Carolina fans are always recruiting…they'd really have something to whine about and they could at least get their wish. Fired Peterson or a "new" HC in Canales

There's a lot to talk about in Carolina and Jacksonville that's for sure. Those teams are so full of problems it would be like a kid in a candy store for them.

Over half the league is in that situation. Is what it is. We get a chance to see some of the young players take on more prominent roles. Hopefully Brock can improve on what has been an up and down year so far, and yes Kyle needs to freshen up that play book, especially in the passing game
Let the kids play, but you would have to take at least a flyer on a vet WR, right? Outside of apparent needs at DL, OL, and LB.
Wide receiver and safety. Maybe a TE if a halfway decent veteran one is on the block somewhere?

I hate to turn this into a Brock Purdy thread, but Shanahan needs to give Cowing more time with Purdy. Dude is electric as a WR, take Bell and Conley's snaps away from them and give them to Cowing. If it were up to me and Cowing had a good practice and Deebo couldn't go, my WR line up would be:

Pearsall
Jennings
Cowing
Conley
