Montana had Rice, which Aiyuk is clearly not. Does not have the finesse, not even close. Also had Craig, Lott, Clark. And also had Walsh. This whole idea of Brock doing things with or without ppl around him is just lame. Really lame lol. It is one of the dumbest talking points I have heard in football. That it got any traction at all is what surprises me.

Montana had Rice? I thought we were facing Stafford, without Rice, and Kupp, and Nacua. I'm just going to let Brock play the game.
And Montana won two Super Bowls before he ever heard of Rice.

I don't expect the 9ers to blow out the Rams. Now should I expect it?

It's gonna be an ugly game with all these Injuries mounting up.
Aslong as the OL does It's job and Sorensen doesn't f**k it up, we should still walk away from that game with a win.

DC and oline coach laughing hard after doing lines barely laced (unknowingly) with Fentanyl while watching Staley during pregame warmups... those two need to get their units ready.
McVay gonna throw everything including kitchen sink. 49ers usually beat teh lambs, but they could slip if they come in thinking it's a gimmie... like how (imo) they went into Viqueen land

The 9ers have won 9 of the last 11 meetings against the Rams, so I'm sure Kyle will find a way of making It 10 out of 11 both teams are dealing with Injuries It would seem, but I think we still have more than enough talent to get the job done.

The Bosa injury scares the hell out of me because we don't have any replacement for him. Not even an average player to replace him. With Kittle yes we don't have a replacement but we do have other players we can throw the ball to, BA, Jennings, Juice, Conley, Cowing. With Ward we can have Green fill in for him. No CMC is terrible but atleast we have Mason who is a starting RB on 20 teams. Deebo another big loss but like Kittle we have other guys we can throw the ball to. But we literally have nothing to replace Bosa with. Imagine our pass rush without the only guy who gets constant pressure?

Wait, he didn't join until later? I didn't know that . I guess I should have been specific on SBs in particular and when exactly any players mentioned joined the 9ers lol. Lesson learned lol.

Obviously not ideal, but this is a scenario I want to see Purdy in. Down a few playmakers.....lets see how much of the load he can 'carry.'
As a side note....Rams down both of their big playmakers, their offensive line is in shambles. 49ers could be down 3 offensive skill players, plus Ward....and it's only week 3. This is a big reason why the NFL is such a poor product today - far and away too many injuries

You mean 10 out of 12 I'm assuming.

Saw a stat last night on 3rd down and 3 and 7 or more the defense has allowed 8-11 this year. Gonna be a long season if this defense can't improve on that stat.

I don't see much of a difference in scheme from last year. Seems like we're just rushing 4 expecting them to get to the QB then hoping or secondary can cover. This is where we miss guys like Saleh and Demeco. No aggression. No imagination. Don't know what Staley's role is…thought he was some type of defensive guru.
