Even with all the injuries the 49ers should beat the crap out of the rams. Should.............

This is what happens when you baby everyone during TC and preseason

THIS! It's not even just our team, the soft tissue injuries are taking out players all over the league early. NFL needs to go back to having real training camps and players actually playing in the preseason again. CBA has already shortened and watered down training camps, preseason and teams are scared of starters going down in 'meaningless' games so now you got players not in game shape when the bullets go live. They need to rethink this.

The League changed to 17 games for more money, which pays the players more money. Now they have to be careful for the players long season and not break them down in TC. It's a bad situation however they moving to 18 games and more days per week. It's a recipe for a lot more injuries to players who will have shorter careers but more take home pay. Always follow the money that's why the League wants it like this. It does suck but probably won't change.

17 games is silly cuz it's an odd number so it's an imbalance between home and road. you need 18 games. 2 preseason so 20 total. one idea is all players have to be inactive for a game or two games.
Super Bowl contenders huh? Looks like pretenders. These guys don't want to play with a hangnail on their toe. Got to be tougher than this if you want to win the Super Bowl.

I was watching the screen crawl with all the team injury reports. Nearly every team has the same type of soft tissue injuries listed. I wonder if all the strength supplements these guys use (legal and illegal) have anything to do with it. Big injuries like torn ligaments and broken bones can be attributed to the players being bigger and faster. The soft tissue injuries are another matter.

I think just not doing 2 a days and hard hitting in the preseason is a big deal. Like they used to. They used to put their pads on and hit. Now the league is so soft with player agreements that they go more easy in the preseason. They just aren't in hitting shape by the time the season rolls around. I think that's a big part of it.

Exactly the 49ers are still the better team with:

Brock Purdy
Trent Williams
Nick Bosa
Demo Lenoir
Aaron Banks
Jordan Mason
Fred Warner

The training room must be pathetic fixing these guys up too. We are at the start of game 3. To have this many key players out is a total failure. It's unacceptable. We need to go in another direction.

Professional football players need to act professional. It is their responsibility to be in shape. They get paid stupid amounts of money to be professionals which includes being physically ready to play a physical sport.

Might as well put flags on them.
