Wishful thinking. When was the last time you saw the 49ers with a big enough lead to pull some of their starters?

They didn't pull the starters. That rarely ever happens in NFL games. It's more likely that a team getting hammered would do it. The players like their stats.
They could have pulled their starters the second half of the 4th that game is the point.
Regardless, they pulled the starters a few times last year, so it's not like it's ancient history.
What like for the last series? NFL games are often one score games. Teams have kickers that can score from 60 yards out so it's easy to have a game winning drive if you trail by less than 3. Taking players out for one series isn't going to give them a lot of rest. They would need to sit out a half to get any appreciable rest and that never happens. Like I said, pulling the starters is wishful thinking unless the heat becomes a factor. The 49ers have let too many big leads disappear.
All these coaches have at this level. They don't do it until it's truly in the bag.
Exactly. You see it in college because they often want to get next year's starter some playing time. Pulling the starters to give them rest in the NFL is rare. Like I said resting one series or even two at the end of the game isn't going to make a lot of difference. It lessens the chance of an injury but if the team has a lead that large they usually snap the ball and hand off. Just trying to burn the clock.

Hottest Gameday in Levi's history. So they tried to get more white on the uniforms but the league said we couldn't use our white unis cause you have to ask way ahead of time, before the season.
so we switched to our badass 94 throwbacks cause at least the pants are white.
So if they wore their white uniforms anyways would they force them not to start the game or just fine them?
Knowing the NFL they would probably fine Kyle or John. Maybe make York sell the team.
Yeah I imagine it would be bigger than that cause the league would make an example of this and fine the hell out of ownership, coaches, front office, and possibly the players.
