Purdy was extremely inconsistent today, and I love the player but he helped cost us today. I am not going to pretend he had nothing to do with it. Our best players didn't step up and we paid dearly for it

Exactly, it was a perfect formula how to not even run a Madden offseason let alone an actual NFL offseason. Problem is we are stuck with most of this team for the foreseeable future.
