The idea of no Fred Warner out there scares me.

Game looks like its going to be a shootout. We dropped 40+ on them last year, I think it might be a game where both teams score 30+ unless we can force some turnovers. Absolutely must protect the ball on Sunday.

I would love for this to be a run the ball all over them game. They don't have the DL or LBers to stop the run. It would be a clock consuming grind it out game BUT I fell like every time we have a matchup setup to do just that…they do the opposite lol.

Oh forgot it is a home game
Now they're calling for 98 at game time. I can hardly believe it's that hot in October. I've seen 90 at this time of year but 98 is crazy. That could really wear down the linemen that have to chase Murray around. If it's that hot I imagine the sunny side stands will be empty and the fans will be watching the game in one of the clubs around the stadium.

Toss a tank on, drink some beer and put on some sun screen…I've watched games in monsoons, heat and massive snow storms. Part of the game.
id say AZ is less likely to be ready for the weather than our guys.

Why would they be less likely to be ready for that heat? I haven't been to a game at Levis but I hear that the sun is brutal on that side of the field. Partly because the glass windows on the opposite side reflect the heat making it even more intense. Staring directly into the direction the sun is can really cause a severe headache. Even at the Stick it was an issue for fans on that side of the stadium. I would look through the binoculars and see everyone holding their hand or a program above their eyes to shield them from the sun. Not fun.
Levis has several clubs all around the stadium so the fans can go in there to get relief and watch the game. I'm happy to be watching from home.

For what it's worth the windows are angled towards the field and the sun will be high enough to not be in anyone's eyes.
My Seats are just under the overhang. I've got shade and protected from the rain. As a STH since candlestick, i know not to sit in the sun side sections as the sun was brutal back then also.

The sun will be low in the 3rd and 4th quarter. (3:30--4:30) The weather app is saying 98 by 2:00. That's frickin' hot even in the shade. In the sun it's brutal. The ream may be practicing indoors but these guys live in the Phoenix area where they just had a record 113 straight days over 100. Many above 110. I would say these guys are acclimated to heat it you can ever really get acclimated. I haven't been to a game there but I know lot of people have complained about the heat on that side of the stadium and it's never been anything close to 98. The previous record was 87.

I could be wrong but Az games/practice facilities are indoors, no?
I've been on both sides at Levi. It's either f**king freezing or hot as s**t in my experience. Is what it is. I've been to buffalo with a massive snow storm and NJ with massive amounts of rain and wind (the worst of all imo).
I don't know the elements are of the experience imo. Not to say going to Minn Dallas or ATL wouldn't be sweet. Those are awesome stadiums. I just prefer the outside and having that experience good or bad.

I wouldn't want to sit in sub freezing temps either. The real problem with heat is it can make people sick. Heat stroke is always a possibility. It gets worse if people are drinking alcohol. That's why I suggested they forego the booze for this game.
Meanwhile, 500 miles to the north in Eugene where I now live it's about 70 with light rain is expected this afternoon. We've had a mild summer this year while much of the rest of the country cooked. I barely used the air conditioner from after mid August.

I went to a Niner game in NO. Indoor football sucks. The lighting and sounds make it seem like a basketball game.

Yup key is to wear as little and light as possible. I went to the season opener vs Bucs in 2019. One of the hottest games I've ever attended
