OFFICIAL Post-game Venting Thread

Mods feel free to move if deemed necessary. Just felt maybe we needed a general thread to blow off steam from week to week on whatever is bothering us, specifically if it's not really one particular thing, or is just a generic rant.

Woke up still infuriated today. Probably need a full 24 hrs to get past this one. We've blown a 14 and 13 point lead this year. There's no excuse for that. You have to have a collapse of epic proportions for us to lose the games we lost, and that's exactly what we did.

I can accept the Vikings loss, we got outplayed period. But LA and AZ were absolutely unacceptable. The team should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

The sheer volume of backbreaking mistakes at critical junctures of games is deeply disturbing. We have our way for good chunks of the game, but the magnitude of "stupid football" we play outside of that is astounding, and it almost seems to be infectious.

I'm sitting here scratching my head trying to figure out how we have such low IQ play from so many guys across the board and the only thing I can point to as a running theme is lack of experience.

We have a rookie DC. Brock is in year three. Mason year three but first time starting. We have a rookie and second year player at safety. We have a second year guy in Winters at linebacker. DFF when healthy was starting for the first time ever this year.

The team is one play away in each of those collapses from being 4-1 right now. They should've learned their lesson already from the Rams game, but if this latest choke doesn't do it, I don't know what will.

Overall, the bottom line to me is guys need to play smarter football.

Two deep deep drives (maybe three?) that resulted in 0 points. No kicker but that no excuse for the poor third down conversions by Brock and company. We were masterful between the 20s but I was telling my wife all the big plays don't matter since we HAVE TO have a TD. The cardinals didn't care about the 30+ yards plays

That play was definitely among a number of absolutely ridiculous plays that should NEVER happen at that point in the game.

This. If you look back we had some awesome draft from 17-21, but the last few look abysmal.

Total team collapse yet again

It was the HEAT, guys. It was obvious they were delirious from it in the 2nd half. It even showed up with brain-fogged Shanny and Sorensen. Cards, on the other hand, practice in this kind of heat year-round. Don't worry. We'll thrash them around up in their place next time.

Unfortunately, I do not see this team making the decisions necessary for the needed positive change going forward this year. They keep Colton which is beyond me, o-line has been an issue for a while and derp, they dnt do enough about it, they hire this Sunshine character who apparently has "growing pains" we all have to sit through I guess lol, we have too many injuries, the list goes on and on. It starts at the top though.
