This is all on coaching. The offense has invested in their pass catchers and they have been MIA in the red zone. Even without CMC, our red zone offense can't be this bad. I dunno what to think here.

Positive note, if we win in SEA, we are tied for first in the division for a couple days. We are far from a playoff team and we will get smoked by KC and probably DAL

I think part of the problem with the read zone offense is that Kyle isn't using much creativity and looks to be forcing drop-back passing. Unless I'm mistaken yesterday's game saw little play action passes which is weird cause the 49ers used to do that more than drop backs.
Shanahan is a great offensive mind.
The problem is since the Whole Buck stops with Shanny, and the Buck is always stopping short, this organization under him- catering to him- is a proven limited commodity.
we have come to know this.

It's hard to learn anything new from the second kick of a horse, and yet we line up behind that thing and take it time and time again.

Jed won't do anything to change this, but I think keeping Lynch as Shanahan's faithful sideman, and letting Shanny continue to offseason napkin scheme a bunch of overlooked college WRs and RBs while ignoring the O line is a policy that has to end.

Lots of famous hits, but the misses are becoming glaring. It adds up.

i would say the opposite it's on the players. Mason can't put it on the ground on the 10 yd line. Bell can't drop the ball. we are probably 4-1 there.

why are we getting smoked? we have not been smoked yet by anyone. KC is stacking a lot of injuries, DAL has no run game and is down their pass rushers. these are flawed teams.
IMWO, it's defense or lack of. The offense is okay, the defense sucks.

drove me nuts when the coaches went out on the field and caused Mason to fumble on the 8 yard line. also fire Kyle for kicking Moody in the ankle so the team had to go for it on 4th and 23.
1st and goal at the 2yrd line? easy... throw 3 times!

the 4th and 23 deserves it's own thread.

you don't have to go there. you can punt. clearly they felt out of Mitch's fg range. that was on Brock taking a silly sack. i hope KS is going over it with Brock, but it is a short week so not much time for even that.
There season is on the line Thursday. They won't recover from 3 divisional losses with Kansas City on deck.

Theoretically you could go 0-6 in your division but still win it. 2020 Commanders went 0-6 but 7-3 outside their division and still won it lulz. Got dam lol.
I felt something bad coming in the second half. When you have a good lead over a team you gotta end it. You can't let a bad team stick around, and they have done it twice this season. The blitz to end the game was very well done. I don't think the sky is falling, but I'm worried and frustrated. Need to beat Seattle Thursday

Purdy is running around like Archie Manning or Fran Tarkenton trying to make a play. On the bright side Aiyuk finally decided to join the team.

Why, would you punt from the Arizona 27? May as well try if they aren't willing to attempt a field goal.

If it's all on the players we wouldn't need coaches.

There is a laundry list of coaching mishaps this season.

If the choices are try to convert 4th and 23, or attempt a FG from 40+…. You attempt the FG.

Offense scored 1 TD against a bottom feeder defense.
