That was the ugliest f---in win I've ever seen in my life
The mental mistakes continue to haunt us. Luter is good on coverage but horrible on return blocking. His total lack of awareness cost us in the Super Bowl and almost cost us this game.
Credit to Moody for having the mental resilience to make the game winner, but that doesn't excuse missing three kicks. Even just making two of those means it never even comes down to that last one, which by the way, probably hits the post if it's even one yard further back.
Kyle's pass call creativity in the red zone BADLY needs to improve. Also the ultra conservativeness before the half has to stop. Sometimes it's OK but it was not the time today. The calls were infuriating for most of today. The run calls were bad too.
The defensive penalties and lack of fundamentals late was horrifying. We had 4 or 5 automatic first down penalties and blew at least two sacks of baker by not taking out his legs/wrapping up and instead tackling high which also led to one of those penalties.
IDK what happened between Pepper and Deebo but hopefully they can work it out like Seattle's guys who fought the other week did. I don't know who was in the wrong but Samuel had every right to be pissed about our kicker trying to choke away the game at that point.
All in all, Sorensen isn't cut out for this. The third down defense is just too awful. Bring back Saleh or replace Sorensen with Staley..
The amount of rage inducing plays we saw today were insane. So many mental breakdowns on special teams and defense walking them down the field for a game tying drive.
It's honestly amazing that we even won. Teams that make THIS many mistakes almost never win nor do they really deserve to win.
I'll take the win, but the fact that we have looked like this pretty much every week has me tearing my hair out. It's beyond stressful and I feel like I'm gonna look as old as Kyle by season end despite being almost 10 yrs younger

Ugly wins are fun but I am glad I looked away when Moody did the last kick, holy s**t. The replay came and I was like omg he barely got that in, glad I decided to cover my eyes. Those penalties were insane, I thought it was likely over after that lol. Hopefully, the SEA game will be a bit smoother sailing.
