You know I want to say just kick the ball into the endzone for a touchback but then the fumble by chenault would have never happened if that were to be the game plan.
So I guess the 49ers just gamble on the special teams tackling.

he did good. hard to imagine the pressure these guys are under. if he misses even 1 kick he gets on thin ice for his job with us and anyone. if he misses 2 kicks, he's probably out. these guys have no leash until they start banging quite a few thru the posts.
