As far as guys that definitely need to be replaced for performance or simple lack of value right now, I'd say the following:

WR Ronnie Bell
OL Jake Brendel
OL Spencer Burford
OL Ben Bartch
OL Nick Zakelj
OT Colton McKivitz
S JAyir Brown
LB Campbell
LB Winters
LB Graham
LB Flannigan Fowles
CB Isaac Yiadom
DE Robert Beal

Brendel and McKivitz can stay as backups. The rest I want gone for good.
Juice is a total waste of cap space. He contributes very little. Everybody on your list can go

I agree. He isn't worth keeping anymore.

The way we got dominated in the trenches in every facet on both sides of the ball speaks volumes.

People definitely seeing how much Bosa was propping us up now. And that Hargrave wasn't as bad as people think. I do think we can find a cheaper replacement for Hargrave in the draft but we might opt to make sure we know we have that guy before we cut ties. We don't save money unless we cut him post June 1 anyway.

As for OL, we obviously need Trent and Puni had a rough day, but he'll be fine going forward. Every other spot needs major help/upgrades.

Issue with Hargrave to me is on the niners. Dude wasn't an every down player for the Eagles. More of an I yerior pass rush specialists. They paid him like he was a 4 down guy that was great versus the run and had pass rush ability. They should have a young fatty stuffing the run on early downs especially playing in the wide 9. Allowing Hargrave to be fresh and be able tonhelp Bosa on pass rush downs. But they have never had that guy since DJ went to Denver. In my opinion that has limited how effective Hargrave has been
On Purdy -- while I'm still furious with him for Thursday.. I regrettably have to admit.. We should still extend him.. but.. should do everything in our power to do it at the lowest price possible.

Why extend him? Well.. I had to accept one thing.. We just can't go out and pickup Mahomes or Allen. It's just not that simple. He's the best option we have. And no one else is available. Darnold, Zach Wilson, Justin Fields, and Trey Lance are the FA options..

We SHOULD still keep trying to find a longer term elite guy though. Gotta do it in the draft. I don't think fixing the offensive line is going to affect Brock's decision making much. It will to some extent, especially if we can run it better, but the dude has been incredibly prone to downright baffling and asinine turnovers at the worst possible times this year.

Best case for us is he finally learns from these mistakes by next year year and we keep him on a deal fair enough to maintain a quality roster. We're going to need to knock it out of the park again with this next draft to do that IMO.

They have it in Anderson. As long as he's committed other being in shape he's gonna be that guy.

Anderson should be that guy's backup.

I think his development would be huge for us. I think whether or not Hargrave stays may depend on the draft.

McKivitz has improved as the season has gone on. Having Puni next door has helped. He can now focus on his job. No big savings to cut him right now.

Brown needs work. Playing beside an established player and better coaching is what he needs, IMO. He isn't costing very much. Let him compete for a roster spot next season and see how he does.

Winters is worth keeping. He has speed and plays with an edge. He has lost time due to injury. Worth keeping for ST and backup quality.

One of the greatest needs is better depth quality to help on STs. We have gotten so thin with LBs, Safeties, TEs, and WRs, primary ST players, that we get killed there. It isn't just the coach. Lack of quality depth is the problem. Graham is another guy who might stay for that reason.

Other than those guys, the rest need to be replaced with a high-quality draft.
Bartch is a guy who can be signed cheap and can start and play well when needed plus gives you depth at both guard and center.
I don't care who the QB is - we must improve the OLIne.

I like Darnold and he knows the system.

Fields would be very interesting w/KS coaching him.

Dump DeeBo, Hargrave.

Not sure if this has been posted in a different thread. If we lose to the Lions or Cardinals we lock in 4th place in the NFCW and will lock in the 2025 opponents:

Home
Cardinals
Seahawks
Rams
Falcons
Panthers
Jaguars
Titans
Bears

Away
Cardinals
Seahawks
Rams
Texans
Colts
Saints
Bucs
Giants
Browns

If we win out (lol), Giants, Browns and Bears would be replaced by Cowboys, Bengals and Packers. Quite a difference in strength of schedule.

Got dam, be careful what you wish for, but on paper that is soft as it gets. Lions will be gunning for that #1 seed. They will be coming to play on Monday night.
Outside of some poor Purdy decisions in some games, the majority of our losses can be pretty easily attributed to a few areas:

1) Special Teams
2) Front 7
3) OL

I'd add TE depth, nickel CB, and S depth too.

With free agent cash, 10 picks, and plenty of opportunities for UDFA guys at certain spots, I think we can easily fix each of these areas while allowing some our promising young guys to develop and contribute bigger next year (Pearsall, Cowing, Guerendo, Evan Anderson, Sam O, Winters, Bartch).

Ideal offseason would be

FA- DJ Jones and one of the Cs

Resign greenlaw and maybe huff

Resign bartch

Draft in no particular order but loosely first 4 rounds addressing IDL, OL, CB, ER, S, LB

Splash Trade for an ER (Bosa?)

Joey is getting cut. Won't need to trade for him.

If Joey Bosa is cut he will 100% be a 49er
