Resign greenlaw and maybe huff

Resign bartch

Draft in no particular order but loosely first 4 rounds addressing IDL, OL, CB, ER, S, LB

Splash Trade for an ER (Bosa?)

Joey is getting cut. Won't need to trade for him.

If Joey Bosa is cut he will 100% be a 49er
Yep and that would alleviate the need to draft an edge in the 1st.
Scrolling through the list of needs it looks like we need more than we can get out of one draft and free agency. Unless of course every pick and signing works out perfectly which never happens.

We can get at least one solid OL. Based on all the mocks I've seen, both top tackles are projected to be there when we pick or at least one of them. Same with Gs in the 2nd round, only one is projected to go early 2nd, it's also a strong class. Cs class isn't as good as last year, so all of the top Cs are 3rd round projections right now.
We need a RT, C, and DT in the first 3 picks.
If ShannyLynch picks a kicker and punter anytime before the 6th round we're doomed.
I'd be comfortable with the roster as is, aside from Screenbo, were Kyle to replace certain position coaches and change his philosophy for the blitz. That will never happen, of course, so there's not much that can improve this team.

Most of the team's problems with pressure come from blitz pickup and bad communication up front. That's not going to change no matter what "linemen" you bring in. No lineman additions are going to stop the 89 running backs the team will use during the season from getting run over in blitz pickup, or Brock from being booted into free edge rushers, nor the tight ends Kyle uses against edge rushers on some downs from getting destroyed in protection.

Remember, Brock's elbow injury against the Eagles didn't come from "offensive line." It is because Kyle had Tyler Kroft on Haason Reddick.

It would be nice to add some things on defense. The scheme takes care of most of it, but some guys are just f**kups.

I wouldn't bother bringing Greenlaw back, even cheap, since it just means you're less prepared when he gets injured again. The team could definitely use another linebacker to play with Warner.

They could use another corner, and Ji'ayir Brown is atrocious, so they'll need to replace him at safety as well. I'd just convert corners to safety, since there's no point in getting inferior cover players who can't hack it as corners.

Of course, everybody they pick is going to get injured, but you may as well draft some guys who can help the team before they get injured.

Biggest need is special teams. I'd be offering high draft picks to teams for elite punters and kickers.

I don't see offensive line additions as something that ever improves a team's performance in any area. It's among the many myths in football. Offensive line is a waste of resources. Put it into offensive line COACHING, and use the draft capital and cap space elsewhere.
I think we should bring back Carlson or Wright to compete with Moody at K.

If we do a FA center, Ryan Kelly is an option. But I think we'll stick with Hennessy, the draft, and Bartch as competition next year. They should trade Brendel if they can but I doubt they get any takers.

I like the new tackles as camp competition. But we still should draft one.

Banks absolutely must go. And we need to draft some more space eaters at DT.

I disagree I don't think we are far from getting back to the playoffs. Let's look at the potential players going into next year, not going to show depth pieces

QB- Purdy, Mordecai
RB- CMC, Guerendo (I think Mason is gone)
FB- Juice
WR- Aiyuk, Pearsall, Jennings, Cowing, Deebo(?)
TE- Kittle, Pline, (need #2 TE)
LT- Williams, Moore
LG- Bartch- (Need)
C- Brendal, Hennessey (need for the love of God)
RG- Puni, Burford
RT- Mckivitz (need)

DE- Bosa, Floyd, Gross Matos, Beal, Sam O
DT- Collins, Elliot- Davis (need)
LB- Warner, Greenlaw (resign), Winters, Bethune
CB- Lenior, Green (need #3)
FS- Hufanga (resign) Brown
SS- Mustapha

K- need
P- need

If you resign Greenlaw and Huf who shouldn't be expensive your needs are

Center
LG
Tackle of the future, Mckivitz is going to start, could play G year 1
DT
CB3
DE
TE2
RB3
QB 2
K

Why do we need a P? Is Wish a free agent?
this would be my plan:

Release:
K Jake Moody
DT Javon Hargrave?
WR Deebo Samuel Sr.?

Extend:
QB Brock Purdy
TE George Kittle

Re-sign:
CB Charvarius Ward -- on a 1 year deal to re-build his value for a bigger paycheck in '26
LB Dre Greenlaw
OT Jaylon Moore

Free Agents:
I'd fix the OL right away by signing 2 OL FAs... with top targets being:
Drew Dalman, Jedrick Wills, Mekhi Becton, Daniel Brunskill, James Daniels
(maybe some other guys, but I think it's looking like a pretty good OL FA class as of right now)

then:
TE Tyler Conklin
DT DJ Jones
K Austin Seibert

Draft:
I'd try to draft 2 elite DEF prospects by trading up from Rd2 bundling with a future Rd2 pick
one of them being an EDGE

Rd1 -- DE/DT/FS
Rd1 -- DE/DT/FS
Rd3 -- WR/DT/FS
Rd3 -- WR/DT/FS

fill up depth on day 3 of the draft:
Rd4 -- BPA
Rd4 -- BPA
Rd6 -- BPA
Rd7 -- BPA
Rd7 -- BPA
Rd7 -- BPA
Rd7 -- BPA

I think we could fit all of that under the cap considering we'd loose 20+ FAs
