This loss is not on the defense. They turned Mahomes over twice, got a 4th down stop, and forced 2-3 punts.
The loss is squarely on the offense and special teams...just like in the Super Bowl.

Look, you don't expect a missed PAT. Going for two is no guarantee, either. Could have gone for two and missed it and be down 9 still, and you guys would say "If he had kicked the PAT it would be a one score game!!"

Exactly. People act like points only matter at the end of a game. Points are a collective thing…they add up throughout the game so not going for 2 in the 2nd quarter or whenever can cost a team in the 4th quarter
