lol @ all the derps in here blaming Purdy for guys running the wrong routes and getting hit on the throw.
There are SO many teams would sign Shanahan immediately and give Purdy a massive deal. Then we'd be left with some retread or college coach and a guy like Gardner Minshew at QB. 🙄

This loss is not on the defense. They turned Mahomes over twice, got a 4th down stop, and forced 3 punts.
At some point the defense is going to give in. If the 49ers offense wasn't turning the ball over 3 times and going 1-10 on 3rd downs, the defense wouldn't be in such a bad spot always.
