I'm as disappointed as the next person. But people saying replace Purdy/Shanahan… who exactly would you like to replace them with? I'm all ears… never seem to get a response though which is interesting.

Ben Johsnon over Shanahan but you guys don't know him because you never watch other teams.

About Purdy I think that if Johnson made Goff good he'd make Purdy even better.
Coaching wasn't good enough, plain and simple. We for sure have the players.

Remember how the 49ers were struggling without CMC, and we're back to that without him this year.

And Aiyuk and Deebo the other two starters also. Deebo had a tummy ache

Deebo looks like he trending downhill, I would get what I can for him while we still can, I feel the season should officially be over if we lose to dallas

He may have set out today after hearing about the trade rumors.

The best shot at winning the SB was 2019, 2021, 2022 and especially 2023. The window is now closed. Even if we win the NFC West, there are 4 teams in the NFC that are clearly better (DET, MIN, GB, WAS) so it doesn't even matter. Division round exit at best

I would say even Tampa bay would beat us right now

Probably.
Like I posted before kick off. I don't care if we won or lost... just more so how we played... how we looked.

And, although it was a close game at times, I didn't like what I saw. Bad decisions by Kyle, Bad decsions by Brock, and the players just making mistakes (like when our defense just escorted the Chiefs offense into the end zone with 3 penalties.) Just doesn't seem like a well coached team. Doesn't seem like a well organized team. Doesn't seem like well prepared team. Yes even when our starters have been out there, they have also made mental mistakes.
Do people now realize that the Super bowl hangover is real

This loss is not on the defense. They turned Mahomes over twice, got a 4th down stop, and forced 3 punts.

If the defense gives up more than 17-points in any given game, the defense is to blame. Period. End of story. Debate over.

Mahomes torched the defense through all four quarters. They not only failed. The defense was a massive failure. Accept it. Move on.

You've never understood football and continue to show that.

Kyle aint going nowhere dudes been to two SB's and people acting like he's a scrub. Please a lot of starters out on this team right now. When CMC comes back and Juan and Deebo it will turn. Division is a mess 49ers can still win it.

We can still win it but next week is a must-win. As are the other three divisional games. Can't expect them all to suck all season long. Seattle may have figured it out today… (which is exactly why we needed to beat them last week)

Not for the Chiefs

Sad this will be his last year on this team. His play over the last few years makes me forget his one great year. What a flash in the pan player

Looks like grifter McCaffrey pulled one off over 49ers with new contract----Purdy no way pay him. Aiyuk---a disgusting, typical 2024 wide receiver Drafting has been terrible lately, lucky in late rounds, flops early. Why draft RBs with 3rd round ever?

Rivalry? Beating a team a few times needs to happen before any "rivalry" talk.

Philly last year but KC came back and won it all. So I say BS.
People should quit crying. Chiefs are just better. Our offensive line still sucking is the main reason we loss this game. It's on Lynch and Shanahan for not upgrading center or right tackle. Best they can ever do is hold up, never having the ability to maul their opponent. Massive failure to never addressing it.
