We are still okay even with the sucky play today at the QB spot he will be fine. Lots of QB's have problems with Spags defense. (yet some of the int's were dumb throws that should have never been made.) This team will win the division.

Well that was money well spent, somewhere the Pittsburg Steelers are laughing their ass off

It's a nine-month recovery…
9 is if everything goes perfect and its just the ACL, its listed as a 9-12 month injury.

I would love to start a thread about the future and what we need to do for improvement. New staff, players and anything else we can think of. We unfortunately would be chastised by homerism and Shanahafans. Lol.

Agreed. He's not playing well this year.
Finally people are realizing this , the ints this year are ridiculous , too much dancing around too , dude needs to get back to what he did last year , it may be too late tho
before this game, he was the highest graded QB in the league, and even if you don't do PFF, that's still a measurable statistic that he was playing very well this season. This was a really bad game though.

CMC was the real mvp last year and we miss him
But that was the knock on Purdy. He's was only looking good because he had all his star players supporting him. I guess there's some truth to that. If he needs the best offensive player on the game, an all pro TE and 2 pro bowl level WRs with a pro bowl FB….and that's only good enough to lose a SB, then maybe he's not a "great" QB after all.

What won that Super Bowl for Brady and the Bucs was them going all in before half time to extend their lead on Mahomes and the Chiefs even more. Where as Kyle gets scared about messing up or leaving the opposing team too much time.
Pretty sure what won them that Super Bowl was the refs finally called holding on the Chiefs' OL. Pretty consistently, too.

Sorry Jed gonna have to get outta that contract. I thank Aiyuk for last year tho! It was a fun one year with a WR. Man the niners are horrible at drafting them

Meh, what are you going to do? The Chiefs are a better team. We're missing 3 starting WR's, CMC, a starting DT, but they too were missing some players. Oh well, that's the game.
It was a tightly contested game and Brock's turnovers doomed the team. He was forcing the ball because Kyle couldn't scheme guys open and none of the WRs could do anything on their own. One INT was a miscommunication between he and Bell. Side note, Bell should not be seeing the field ever. The difference between the QBs today was that Mahomes was okay throwing the ball away and living to see another day whereas Brock was trying to force things. It's a sign of immaturity.
The 49ers defense played really well today and deserves some credit.
It is a long season so there's time to right the ship, but this version of SF could just as easily get blown out by the Cowboys. I think this team is sliding towards mediocrity and needs rejuvenation. Aiyuk and Samuel are good players but they don't seem like their invested in the program anymore.
Its worrisome that Shanahan consistently gets beat by the same style of defence and still has no answers for it.

Dumbest slogan in the league is "Pay the Man" when it's more than he's worth, or more than you want to risk in one player, or he's the guy on your team with an attitude.

Starting to fear that may be the case, look what happen to jimmy after he left Kyle, became crap, what would happen if Purdy went to the raiders? Same thing ?

Feels like our stars always suck the moment we pay them. I just don't know anymore, man. How can we win a Super Bowl when a star always checks out the moment they get paid? It's virtually impossible. Other teams don't have this problem. Very frustrating.
