I don't blame him for bailing on the league. Safties are under paid for the stress they put on their bodies. 6mill... 7mill? Fuuuuck that!

I'm blown at how depressed the safety market is. Would love a guy that could just eliminate the deep threats and general big plays for us. Hoping we take a true free safety for the modern NFL early next year.

We should have tried to get Rapp when he was available.

Lynch doesn't put much stock in Safeties, I doubt they take one in the 1st or 2nd round. And to tell you the truth they shouldn't, because they need O-line again!!

This. Safeties have minimal impact on a game when they are great. When they are bad they have a huge impact but a decent safety has relatively the same impact as a great safety.
Is this a depth move or potential starter move. Tell me what I should think

ill take it.
I wonder why they didn't bring Tracy Walker back.
Solid signing. Depth, veteran with decent ball skills, and plays special teams.

This would have been a championship level move five years ago.

Now.....meh.

this reminds me of a Gipson like move. Not a world beater anymore, not a bad player overall

We don't need another strong safety type. We are loaded with those. We need a free safety that can defend the deep ball.

Andre Cisco is the guy you're describing. The disgruntled FS on the last year of his contract in Jacksonville.

Coincidentally, an NFL.com piece today named Cisco as a trade piece of some value that could be moved.

Cisco would change our defense and definitely be worth trading for
They gave the nod to a rookie (JM) and Odum, but left this dude on the PS, does he suck that much
