Should we be sellers at trade deadline?

I don't see another win on the schedule tbh
Yes. We lost a lot strategic capital due to the Trey Lance debacle. If the recent losses taught us anything, it shows the value of youth and line play on both sides. Our rookie classes over the last couple of years are looking decent but we have some expensive players that were once great but we need to move on. Deebo, Ward, Huf need to go. Maybe there's some in the tank but shouldn't be part of long term.
This is the craziest s**t I have seen We are one game Out of first place in the division and Have an injured Players, Actually stars that will be back, There is no way this organization will become sellers lol Overreaction like a Crazy, We can be every team except Kansas City, but won't have to face them again until the Super Bowl

This is probably the worst roster Shanahan has had since the year they traded for Garoppolo. I think common sense says to punt on the season and reload draft picks so Shanahan can draft more scrub RBs in the mid rounds

This is you wanting the team to go 3-14 so Shanahan gets fired, not an actual realistic take on the team's ability or schedule.

The team may get 7-10 wins. Maybe even 6 wins in a worst case scenario. 3-14 is highly doubtful.

This team lost to the depleted Rams & Cardinals can't see how anyone could be confident of them beating any team with a pulse.

I disagree I believable, especially if we get healthy and If we do Then just watch all of the overreaction go out the Window lol

This roster is still far better than 2018 and 2020 (as it was at the end of that season). Especially once CMC and Greenlaw return.

They *barely* lost to those two teams. If every game is that close odds say half will fall for you and half against. Going 0-10 the rest of the year is simply improbable.

I don't know if it's the worst you just have a bunch of dead money waste though. A bunch of players not living up to their contracts.

CMC not even able to get on the field after demanding a raise... We knew he was with jury prone when we traded for him.

Deebo 25 mill a year a shell of himself.

Yuk at 30 mill a year was on pace for 800 yards in 17 games ...

Hargrave at 20. Khalia Davis, Collins, and Anderson have produced as much or more and cost nothing,

Trent's been not near as good after a raise ..

There's few who are worth their pay ... Bosa, Warner, kittle, some of our fas signed, Jennings is underpaid...

There's so much wasted cash for the production were getting....

Sell all the above and get younger next year. I'd trade Kyle for 2 firsts 2 seconds and 2 thirds in a heartbeat as well. We could be stacked in the next couple years ...
I think if we win next week, we still have a real shot because we more than likely will be having CMC and Greenlaw coming back after the bye.
That would upgrade both sides of the football and also if we do win next week and is confirmed that they are both coming back, we should seriously consider upgrading by the trade deadline, maybe Dexter Lawrence or even Myles Garrett. I know both of these guys are both of their teams top defensive players but both teams are not performing well and might be willing to sell. Garrett might require a 1st and a 2nd or a 1st and a 3rd , I think you could probably get Lawrence for a 2nd.

If we were able to pull this off after a win next week and then pick up one of these 2 guys our defense would be elite and we could really string some wins together.

Giving up a 1st when they need it for a C, T or CB/S in the draft is a bad move, IMO. You're looking at a mini-rebuild this off season no matter what happens. It just isn't a year where trading for one piece will make enough of a difference.

The roster is getting retooled. That's unavoidable because of the cap.

Don't count on it happening during the season though.

This year isn't looking like our year, but we have rookies who are flashing. If they continue to produce then that makes retooling a lot easier.

Unfortunately the guys who aren't producing are either injured or their contract prevents any moves during the season so not sure what people are expecting to happen.

This year is looking grim, but there's probably not much we can do other than ride through it.
Absolutely. Team isn't winning a SB

This team needs to ride out 2024 and look to next year, it's clearly not as good as it was last year and are clearly in decline.
