All wrong. Purdy is absolutely allowed to change the play, and we discussed this ad nauseam in his thread including posting actual evidence from Kyle Shanahan's playbook.

For whatever reason, the average low football IQ fan thinks that audibling a play means randomly picking a new play. It doesn't.

Call me a conspiracist, I don't care but I have a theory that the NFL is dictated by referees using sophisticated probabilities and analytics. They can't control everything and can't completely fix games but they can completely change momentum and turn the games in many different ways.

Thats every offense. Qbs don't completely change the play call unless you are Aaron Rodgers. Look how that's going.
