It's a long episode. But, I dove into the details of routes and some protections to show what was going on. You have to understand the first bulk of the video to understand everything.

Thanks for that perspective JD.
I watched enough to see what you're talking about with the complexities and "cascading" effects that can occur throughout the game regarding the offense. It is not as simple as "Shanahan can't scheme guys open" or "Purdy is not the guy". I see what you mean by the complexities from not just an X's and O's standpoint, but small intangible details that are going on between receiver and QB.
(example for others by what I mean if you didn't watch):
Receiver doesn't stem/break off their route at the correct depth and the timing is off with Purdy's drop (Conley's fault)
Receiver breaks off route at the correct depth but Purdy overcompensates by throwing an extra 5 yards past them (Purdy's fault, not Bell's. INT.)
and then you have the double whiff of the O-line where Purdy looked off the safety perfectly and had Aiyuk
really feels like the injuries + Aiyuk's sluggish start to the season has really just thrown everything off and had a big trickle-down effect with the offense
it seems like no matter, what Purdy has to continue to play within the system and remain disciplined.
