The thing with him is what happens when the DL gets pressure. Or, he needs to play off script. The greats are able to overcome that. And that's where Goff's weakness is imo.

He got exposed big time in that SB against New England. To his credit, he has improved alot since that moment.

All in all, if we played Detroit tomorrow, I think they would curbstomp us. But we need not worry about them until the end of December.

If we were moving Puni I'd like to see him at Center. But it's hard to argue with the success he's having where he is. Banks can walk.

IMO I kinda doubt we trade for anyone, if so I think it would be DL help

The 49ers don't have enough draft capital to go allin on a big name. Any drag ft picks they offer are going to be end of round picks so it makes them less valuable. They also aren't going to take on a big salary so it would be a one tear rental type or a lower level player that they thought they could sign again next year. I don't expect any blockbuster type move.
