As long as chiefs don't get him lol
at this point if a couple trades arent made in the next 5 hours that's probably a sign that their giving up on the season. this DL is not stopping anybody. our DTs are Malik Willis an a bunch of 5th stringers. this teams strength has turned into its weakness. there's no magical reinforcements that are coming back that we know will for sure be an stay healthy all season. they have draft capital to trade but choose not to, and this is the last year of the window. its basically come down to these next 5 hours, if they truly plan on going all in this year then multiple acquisitions would need to be made by 1pm. if they don't, get ready for the next generation rebuild.
hopefully I'm wrong.

Totally agree. If we can somehow get a DT and ER or DT & FS I can see us making a push to the playoffs and compete.

just need the oline to step up and hope CMC and our WRs to stay healthy.

they have more than enough resources. we have all our 2025 picks as far as I know. including the stash of comp picks we get every year. the ability is there.

That's life. I wouldn't expect that teams are going to be trading away the types of players that would move the needle in any dramatic way anyways. If anything we'll be looking for depth on the defensive line and Devondre Campbell's spot. At 4-4 and with the schedule the 9ers have left, I'm not sure it'd be all that wise to double down on this being the year anyways. It is what it is. The guys on the roster are going to have to step up or it's on to next season.

Besides, if there was anything I would be willing to trade for this season it'd be for the Chiefs treatment from the refs. That is what I'd trade for.

Totally agree, and if I'm going all in it's to get either Ojulari or Harold Landry. Then I'd use a late round pick to get Godchaux or a pick to get Tyrann Mathieu.

Why not, I thought the goal is to win a Super Bowl? You're just gonna sit back and say f**k it that's the season, in other words give up!!! f**k losing, do what you can to win!!!!

we don't need mahomes players we really just need help on our DL an OL and there's players out there available that could help us.
The Lions just got Za'Darius Smith from the Browns for 5th and 6th round picks. The Niners could have used hm.

Sure, you always look for ways to improve your team. The question is should management be going all in on the roster this season when it has produced a 4-4 record and is not a lock to even make the playoffs? The pattern with Lynch has been to add role players at the deadline so if they do anything it'd be rotational players. If I was Lynch I'd be taking a long look at Calais Campbell and and a better coverage linebacker like Demario Davis to get Devondre Campbell off the field.

I highly doubt this is the year they would make a play for Buckner or anyone else at that level for that matter.

You don't need star players like Buckner (who most likely won't be traded anyway). Ojulari isn't a star player yet, more like player on the rise, which still wouldn't cost a 1st round pick, at least shouldn't. But players like Mathieu, Godchaux and Za'Darius Smith shouldn't cost as much as far as draft capital, look at what Smith went for anyway.
