Saints are in a tricky situation. Some of their star players are in contracts they can't trade away due to them kicking the ball down the road for all these years and adding years on to contracts so trading them would be a lot of dead money hitting the books. Someone said Lattimore was their only player they could trade and actually save money.

The Cap does exist you can just deal with it now or set yourself up for a rough patch later on. Saints went too extreme.

Teams are still trying to see what the Giants are going to do with Azeez Ojulari. New York is looking for a high 5 pick or late 4th rounder, per sources.

They just gave Burns $100M and Thibodeaux is now able to get paid after this season (I'm sure they will give him the 5th yr option). He isn't gonna be cheap.

outside of Thomas their OL is awful. They need picks to move up and get a QB, they have no secondary, they have Nabers and nothing else as far as playmakers go.

overall their roster is trash.
