Should the 4-4 49ers go all in or all out at the trade deadline?

if they really believe that Christian McCaffrey will be back in full health, then you definitely try and make as big a move as possible to replace BA. Otherwise you just stand pat and use the season as practice for next
We should unload everything we can. NFC has passed us by… prep for the future.

were the worst team in our own division. Fighting tooth and nail to make the playoffs or further only delays the inevitable.

Cut our losses. I don't think anyone is enjoying this season anyhow

I would not trade for anyone nor sell anyone.
Roll with what we have. Lets get real, we are not winning the superbowl and our play-off hopes are hanging by a thread.
I would like to see us give extended time to the younger stars especially Persall and Cowing lets see what we have in those two.
There is no WR out there who is available and going to replace what a good version of BA would bring to us so why waste a pick on someone who probably won't be with us next year.

Let's bookmark this response. Since the topic being discussed here is pure guesswork, and it appears you're guessing we turn the season around and compete for a superbowl? It's possible.

If we miss the playoffs, however, and aren't competing for the Super Bowl… your well-articulated emoji response will be worth coming back to.

cross those fingers.

Watching the Rams and Vikings now.

Both these teams are so much better, especially on offense, than 49ers. This season is done, this team is done.

Saved me some typing. This

Talk about NOT adjusting amirite

Please bookmark this as well

Niners have 7-10 pro bowlers on this team but you want to blow the roster up bc we started 3-4 and you think the NFC has passed us by? Didnt we start 3-4 in 2022? Last year we lost 3 in a row and everyone like you thought the world was coming to an end. You guys really can't handle any kind adversity.

We should really stop calling ourselves the faithful. We ain't that.

If you don't see clear differences between this situation and 2022s we are looking at different things. Like I said above, we'll know relatively quickly if you're right

Not sure they need a fire sale but I'm with you that at least 4 teams in the NFC has passed right by us. We just don't have the horses in the trenches to compete with the big boys. They definitely shouldn't be trading away any draft picks for guys I'm hearing mentioned. . .

Definitely no. There are too many holes and it's not worth it. Too many things would have to go right.

-terrible center.
-no LB depth and banking on Greenlaw coming back playing to form.
-Aiyuk out for the year
-Both safety positions
-Questions on CMCs injury. How's he going to be and is this going to flare up again?
-DL depth and talent. Other than Bosa, it's really lacking here.
-Our DC hasn't been very promising so far. Looks just as bad as last year.

This. 🤦‍♂️

Oh come on. It's October, they win this weekend and their .500 with a bye. Literally no different this time last yr.

make a move to get some help. It trickles down, STs gets a boost because the guys who should be playing just STs are starting elsewhere.
