49ers trade for DT Khalil Davis

Looks like Texans needed room for Mario Edwards to return from suspension so Davis was the odd man out.

I think it's more rolling the dice with a small bet because they know this team is not playing to the standard it is use to. Blowing leads to AZ and LA they had no business losing to. Yuk not up to par after a stupid holdout then out for the year. Can't score TD's for jack s just because CMC is out? If the team's success falls off that bad just because CMC goes down we all better pray really hard he stays healthy for years to come.

We have a stoner for a d coordinator who's still in the 70's. The rookies look promising but they're still rookies and hard to believe they can keep trending up as the competition gets harder.

I think the FO said we need to hang on to picks for next year since they know it's not like 2019. They have to get some cheaper talent in the building as a lot of the core is getting some years on them and/or high price tags associated with them.

We'll see how much difference CMC makes but the team's I see us having no shot of beating right now:

Lions,Ravens, KC of course with their 12th man crews.

Can compete with but would probably blow it:
Cards, Washington, Rams,Bills,GB,

I hope the guys coming back light a rocket under the team and that I will be surprised that we go back and win the SB this year.

That's what I said in the pre-season. For sure at this point considering what's happened. But let's see if this team can make a run. The Eagles were on a roll last year, beating KC, Buffalo, and Dallas to end up 10-1 then crashed and burned. With Jared Gaffe, I mean Goff, at QB, same thing can happen to dem Lions. But probably not :)
