Floyd is one of the worst signings this team has made in a long time.

Damn. It's embarrassing getting manhandled and kicked around in our own house. We lost to a better football team it happens but everyone is 5-5 so all this talk about season over needs to cease. We still have an outside shot if the defense stops getting gashed. Nobody is beating the Lions anyways.

I have made peace with myself that this will be the case personally. To the rest of you all, enjoy the future SB win.
Hey man, I hope you're doing better.
I don't want to hijack and side track the thread but was merely replying to the original sentiment. But I'm OK for now. Under a lot pressure, stress from life and work. So eventually, the body gives out. Good looking out though.
I hope you are ok & getting along. I just turned 50 & my wife who just turned 49 was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma Brain Cancer a year ago & had open Brain surgery a year ago yesterday. Life changes in a hurry for sure. Everyone please enjoy life & especially enjoy your loved ones as this game gets us away from the stress of real life for a few hours a week. I pray for my wife everyday, but I will make sure you & your family get a prayer today!! 🙏🏾
Life presents many challenges and perspectives, that's for sure - prayers to you and your wife and family.

OK, here's the facts, imo.
While they're required to consult, Lynch has final control of acquiring talent, and Kyle does not. Kyle has final say in cutdowns. Kyle has total control over his coaching staff.
Kyle has total competetive control over the Entire team. Kyle has total control over game decisions. Kyle has a horrible record holding on to a lead, especially in big games. With some recent success, Kyle has a horrible overall record coming from behind. Kyle lacks motivational skills. Kyle is downright inept in managing a Defense and Special Teams. Oh yeah, those things. Kyle does not take charge of the whole team.
If Kyle were to be let go, yes, he would be scooped up in a heartbeat, and yes, that team would still have a totally inept coach in all things outside of offense. It's very hard to win a SB without a motivator and a leader, and Kyle is neither. Kyle does not seem to learn. I don't want to say he's not smart, but as my dear old departed Mama used to say, there is no relationship between intelligance and common sense, and common sense in this case is judgement.
Still, we would need a very good Head Coach candidate to want to give up on Kyle, because hope springs eternal that he will still find reality, but the evidence is not there. We are in the very top tear every year in personnel, so I see John Lynch as an absolute necessity to stay on top. If this team doesn't start playing up to it's talent level like Now, I no longer see letting Kyle go unthinkable. How long did it take to take us just about out of contention this year. We'd need an awfully good replacement to justify that, but you know what, with our team and reputation, we'd have the chops to get that done. We'd have our absolute pick of every coordinator in the league, and a few head coaches too.
As people like to say, he took us as far as he can.

They just showed a stat on the NFL network this Defense has given up 29 points in the last 2 minutes of games this year the most in the NFL. And I don't know if that is counting the TD by Geno today. I just don't see wins against the Bills Packers Lions for sure and do not have much hope for Cardinals Rams and Dolphins.

It funny listening to post game chats now. We used to headline to the point of annoying everyone. Now if we get a one minute blip I think lucky. The Jets get more time then we do in their mess.

The Packers are a bit fraud aren't they? Dolphins ehhh. We might take these two. Bills will be off a bye for us. Nice.

Brandon Staley gotta go. These finishes mirror all the disastrous games the chargers went through the last few years.

Winners get talked about and losers don't. This game is just a microcosm of this season. Have a lead the whole game, blow it in the 4th, lose another star player to injury. Rinse, repeat.
