The fact the Seahags were coming off a bye, Kettle being out, and losing Bosa didn't help the situation. It is like 2018 again, we can't close games. We need closers, and unfortunately, due to the Trey Lnace trade, we were not able to restock with top rated talent in draft, and this is the outcome. Current SB window has closed. Now time to see what we got in this year's rookie class, and see if we can reopen the window. Sucks that, most likely, the 30th anniversary of our last championship is going to waste, but hoping we come out firing next year.

Shenanigans needs to do better. I don't think it is time to move on, but some things need to change. Might be time he gets an OC.

His stubborn self won't get an OC

I like how the solution to our problems is mask our deficiencies instead of getting rid of it. Not to mention that the solution(s) offered will never happen…

There are a number of positives and negatives around this team. But what is showing right now is a couple things. The team is very talented, but frankly requires some retooling to get some more depth especially at the lines. There are some serious pieces missing (by the end of the game) in Bosa, Hargrave, Kittle, Aiyuk, Greenlaw, Ward, to name a few.

Look at what the Chiefs did when they traded away Tyreek Hill - we should have done similar with Deebo or Aiyuk. I believe the team had a great draft this year, but needs to log another one next year as well.

But the defense did their job in this game, end of game drive notwithstanding. The offense left this open - the run game seems stifled every week. And what happened to the other RBs outside of CMC... Further, the team seems less crisp and less prepare especially when it comes to penalties. There is a sloppiness going on, and it's pretty frustrating. Also, I wouldn't underestimate the Super Bowl hangover hitting this team.

There's a lot more to say, but perhaps a down year is just what the doctor ordered - it will allow them to reassess and restock. I'm still going to watch with great anticipation, but my expectations are dampened. I do want to see how all the rookies play, how Greenlaw and others return, etc. But who knows, maybe they make a great run to the wildcard.

Cheifs could get away with trading Tyreek because they have a franchise QB. We do not...it's clear when we watch him struggle to put completions together without a group of all pros out because of injury.

Also the D lost this game giving up an 80 yard 11 play drive in the final min

Pudy isn't Mahommes, but nobody is.He needs better protection. Give this guy a great line and he won't need super starts, just good players who can get open.

I agree about the Chiefs and QB - we have a B level solid QB, but he isn't the guy who put a team on his back. But Oline reinforcement would give him time to make plays - which is what he does when he has time.

Yes, the D lost this thing in the end (inexcusable), but they weren't the main reason the team lost. The offense lost this game - they should've been able to run out the clock with the running game and get some first downs. It's too predictable. Also, the mistakes/penalties cost a couple scoring opportunities.

Agree!
The 49ers are not a playoff team. Not this year. Lose at home to a crap Seahawks team? Playoff teams do not lay down like this.

The window has closed.
The team is flat and uninspired.

This.

From the HC to the players they look flat. uninspired and uninterested.

The window closed the moment they scored only 3 points in the first drive of OT last february.

I don't think they should pay Purdy 60 million either. Not sure about Kyle although he still can't win the Big One.

Pretty much, a lot of overpaid and fat players playing average, the culture is rotting
Fred is the only guy with any amount of leadership qualities, Boss and Williams are too Quiet. Who's gonna step into the leadership void that Armstead left?
Deebo looks less like a cheetah and more like a Water Buffalo. How does Kyle continue to run that Deebo sweep play, he's out of shape and contact avoidant. That play might have a chance with Cowing or Pearsall.
The stupid boom box thing looks really stupid on an Average football team

I think he stays around like Tomlin in PIT

It makes me sick every time they give Deebo the ball in the backfield. It hasn't worked for like 2 years! Waste of a play. They should give Guerrendo and Mason more touches instead of running CMC into the ground. Have CMC lineup at receiver a few times.
Is Kyle purposely calling sucky plays??
