Who on the D was supposed to spy Geno?
That challenge flag towards the end, I thought it was pretty clear the seahawk receiver had his foot on the white out of bounds line.

I thought so at first as well, but it was too inconclusive to overturn the ruling the on field and imo they made the right call.
not surprised by the loss. when we came out of the bye week looking like we did all season, like nothing had changed, I knew we were in trouble. The signs have been there all season.
You are what your record says you are. This is a 5-5 team, through and through. The signs were actually there this summer.

Both challenges should have been successful. The receiver clearly was on the line for the first one and the second one the receive had his foot off the ground when he secured the ball.

The record is probably a bit better than the team's play. We have a sub-par offense, an average defense, and the worse special teams. I think we are going to get killed by at least two of the three top teams we will face in Packers, Bills, and Lions. Watch us destroy the Packers and then get killed by the Bills and Lions. I could even see us beating the Lions and lose to the Cardinals. That would probably be a fitting end to the 49ers season.
After we fire Kyle we need to move on from Brock cause he's gonna stink it up and take all the heat. We should look for a dual threat QB in the mold of a more modern new school QB. Honestly this is the only way because we don't invest in o line protection and the QB is responsible for blitz. Kittle is very washed and we need to move on from his effective pass blocking and bursty route running. In exchange we should look for a smoother, taller, more flexible TE that's 6'6" but with good pass blocking and weak run game blocking. We can get rid of juice also cause we won't be a running team anymore. On the defensive side we need the DC for life like Spagnola..none of this next head coach pipeline we do.

Just focus having an elite QB carry the entire offensive side of the team instead of the QB being an elite game manager and being a point guard. Can we find that freak QB? Probably not. But our other option is watch our team just fizzle out from the false storyline of Superbowl hangover everytime or Kyle can't win the big game fan experience. Hey Maybe Kyle being no longer an effective head coach in 2024 and beyond is real. But really I don't know..the way our team is designed is alright but what the hell sometimes. We need to hit the GOAT QB lottery. Thank you for listening to my vent.

That's still not why the 9ers lost.
This loss was infuriating on several levels. Kyle did a poor job adjusting to the pass coverage that Seattle threw up. The players did a poor job on offense. O line getting called for numerous 5 yard penalties that kept setting the offense back. The entire team looked flat right from the get go. We've seen them jump out to early leds and then lose late but they never really got going yesterday.
It's bad when you are aware enough to not opt for the "x3" for the 49ers in the Pick'em. This 2024 squad is mediocre.

The signs were evident in spurts last year and especially in the playoff games against the Packers and Lions. We were just healthy enough to let our talent, depth, and some luck, take over. Despite all the injuries and talent drain this year, if we had competent coaching we'd have a SB ring, and would be right back in the mix of things for another run. But noone's stopping the Lions from going to the SB this year unless more injuries (now they lost Anzalone for a month+) spoil their party.
There are at least 5 more games that are going to be really tough. Packers and Bills on the road. Rams. Lions . Cardinals. They can't afford more than one loss since they can't win a tie breaker. because they have a loss to every team in their division.

This team is going to score less than 10 points against the bears defense. Thats going to be a tough game as well
Only 2 teams have scored less points against Seattle . One of them was Miami with out Tua .
The defense coordinator needs to be fired, he never makes adjustments and thus the 4th quarter losses, Nick needs to go and take Brandon with him.
