Yeah defensive tackles we would have to fill with cheap free agents.

Part of the issue is the offense is so bad it allows teams to do whatever they want all game. Additionally, because we use the entire play clock every play were not a come from behind team and limit our offensive possessions because of it.

Basically other teams can run the ball all game and stay balanced because we don't ever have 3 score leads. The league basically can count on us to choke a two score leads away so it pretty much means nothing being up two scores at the half.

We have no replacement for the man on the roster and just gave him a new deal and you want to get rid of him? Even to trade Trent 49ers would be taking a huge cap hit. They would only save money by trading him post June 1st aka after the draft that would help them replace a key piece.

Trent could probably play till 45 if he really wanted to.
