I just did it and that week 18 game vs Cardinals will be pivotal that's with expected losses to the Bills and Lions.

At 9-7 we need AZ to go 3-3 in their next six games vs SEA, MIN, SEA, NE, CAR, LAR ..

Which means AZ gotta go 1-2 in their next 3 just for us to have a chance for them to lose to the Rams in Week 17 to give us a shot at a winner take all Week 17 in AZ with both teams at 9-7.

This is A LOT of hopium.

Season is over unless we win our next two games. Yes, that includes the freaking Bills in their house. Outside of that I think we are cooked sadly.

It is okay. No one's getting past the Lions anyway. They are destined to represent the NFC in the SB this year.

i am picking home team wins, unless it's a weak home team like KC at NYG for example then it's KC wins.

i have us not making the playoffs

LA gets it at 10-7 4 seed
and SEA at 10-7 7th seed

this has us beating Detroit (cuz we are home team) and losing to Arizona as road team. now say we beat ARZ final week, we still aren't in. now say we beat MIA (i have us losing as road team) ok now we are in as 7 seed. so according to my model we need to win out

So looking at the Machine... the key is going to be week 17? Either we have to beat the Lions (lol) or the Bears (lol) have to beat the Seahawks.

The rest of the season is hopefulness of the Seahawks losing as well as the Rams... and we winning our games.

LA is must win, basically all must win. LA has become my favorite matchup. McVay a lot of parallels to Shanny. it's a great matchup.

Yep. No leeway. As I posted in the "gameday" thread, they may be more tired because they burnt more energy yesterday playing Buffalo. But I'm not convinced that the team we fielded yesterday was the real version of the 2024 49ers. I think we're closer to the team that got ass raped by Buffalo last week.

i'm straining the limits of the playoff machine as hard as they can go. i did manage to create a scenario where we are the 3 seed. basically we win out and LA and Seattle need to tie final week.
