Hitner or Sherm? I'd do it! both of those guys are legends, they both excel at their jobs. I'd take a leap there. Wilkes and Sorenson are both uninspiring.

I don't know if Whitner would be a good coach but the real question is does he want to coach. I say this because if he did you would think he would already be doing it at some level. Coaching takes a lot f time and some players just don't want to devote that many hours to the game once they retire. Lott would have been a great coach but he wasn't interested. These guys spend hours trining and practicing in order to excel and once they retire some don't want to spend that much time devoted to football. Sometimes it's the reason players retire.
