I love these panic reactions, like they didn't fall off a cliff in 2020 and then go to straight conference championship games. They've got some nice young talent, the main core guys will return, the biggest thing is to get healthy and upgrade upfront, on both sides of the line. Brendel cannot come back, not as a center, not as a backup, dude just needs to go. On the DL they need to find true run stoppers.

The differance was that was 4 years ago, Trent, Deebo, Kittle, etc etc are all on the downside of their careers. They arent 24 year olds that have time to come back. IF this team gets back it will be with a vastly different roster.

Purdy's "injury" is nothing more than a scape goat for Kyle. He would've played if this team was actually good enough. Bosa and Williams too.

They will shut down all three for the season after today so they can have an excuse.

Aging roster, bad contracts, cap purgatory, awful drafting in 22 and 23 (still not sold on the 24 class), terrible coaching staff.

No, both situations are not comparable in the slightest.

Sure but those guys didn't just magically appear, they were acquired. Gotta go out and acquire some more impact players. They look like they have some nice pieces with Green, Mustapha and Puni, needs to get some more guys like that in the draft.

Bosa will be back, Warner will be back, Purdy will be back, Jennings will be back, Green and Lenoir will be back, Aiyuk hopefully recovers well, Kittle will be back, they really just need to fill up the roster around them.
