l knew that was a bit of a knee jerk comment but it's a mess rn. We can still somehow win it in SC...maybe.

They won't fire him, but they should when the team plays EXACTLY like they played in the dark years and are not any better. If there was a culture of excellence like there are in Baltimore, or at the Pittsburgh they'd at least give you a hard fought game & not just rollover because some of your studs are hurt. The fact that Kyle didn't create a game plan to cater to Allen's skills is a fail. He didn't instruct his DC to play super aggressive to create some turnovers hopefully is on Kyle. The fact that special teams has always been a problem and he hasn't fixed it is on Kyle. If the head coach doesn't bring ANYTHING to the team unless he has ALL his horses playing means he brings NOTHING to the table.

Brandon Allen is garbage, but his receivers haven't helped him either. I felt from the beginning that Dobbs should have been QB2, but with the penalties and defensive play, I don't think it would have mattered much. What it does show us is that Shanahan and Lynch didn't do a good job of finding a competent backup QB in the off-season, or competent depth at DL, LB, FS or TE for that matter. They totally overrated their backup talent this year.

Instead of letting pearsal develop we're going to keep force feeding drops to Tyshun Raeqon Samuels while he goes on his weekly podcast like someone who has actually won a chip

This team pushed all of its chips and then some
into the middle last season just to hand the Chiefs another Lombardi.

That Super Bowl loss destroyed this franchise. Those NFC Championship losses and other two SB losses combined don't even add up to the damage February 11th did to this team.

We went from having a Super Bowl winning QB/HC set for the next 15+ years to it all getting flushed down the toilet in one game. We're now back to square one having to find a new coach, quarterback, general manager and probably overall roster.

This really, really sucks.

Why would Johnson come to a team that has an aging roster and limited cap space, when he could go to a team where he has more control and more freedom to rebuild the roster how he wants.

Well, that may well be up to him, but Mike Holmgren was a really good coach in GB that quit to get personnel control in SEA, and fell on his face, until they took that power away and he finally got back to the SB. John Lynch is damn good, and imo, when he isn't, it's usually when he listens to Kyle. Coaching, and management, are different skills than personnel control, and if you're smart, you recognize that.

Also Sorensen should be fired and replaced by Staley immediately.
