that's true.

Our D has nothing to do with the QB though, and Packers weren't missing a top 5 future Hof OT and an all-pro WR.. so his comment is honestly pretty idiotic lol. We were down our top starter at every position on D..

S - Hufanga
CB - Ward
LB - Greenlaw
DE - Bosa
DT - Hargrave

I do think it's valid to question the call to start Allen over Dobbs. He never did anything to earn that in the preseason IMO. But he wasn't the only one who sucked. CMC had barely over 2 ypc and a backbreaking fumble. Feel like Jennings and Kittle were the only ones who came ready to play.

Still excuses dude. No doubt we were missing a lot of key pieces. Did the head coach put us in a position to win ? Did he field the best possible unit out there ? Allen over Dobbs ? Mason barely seeing the field while CMC gets 11 for 33 yards ?!

these term Shanaexcuses is becoming more and more apparent. Our coach puts us in positions to lose. I couldn't stomach watching that entire game, but I remember one drive where CMC runs for a chunk. Then Mason runs for another big chunk to midfield. Kyle then decides to PASS 4 STRAIGHT TIMES for turnover on downs !

is this good coaching ?

TBH I saw some good creativity. I didn't love every call, but I didn't overall have any issues with how he called the game overall. I definitely disagree with Allen getting the start though. We agree there. Feel we could've done better with Dobbs, although doubt we win still with the defense missing 20+ tackles..

But at the end of the day, my response was just about Nixon's comment. Dude sounds insanely ignorant. They act like it was some big accomplishment. I guarantee if we were healthy we would've smoked these fools.

Always with the injury excuse. It's been like this every year under KS. Maybe they shouldn't prioritize injury prone players? Maybe they need to adjust the practice schedule? Whatever it is I don't know but year year after blaming injuries is old and other players and fans don't want to hear it.

No one cares if you don't want to hear it….it's a fact of playing football. Guys get hurt and seasons are lost because of it.

it's why the constant whining about not winning it all is so exaggerated and draining. It's f**king hard to win a SB when you depend on the whole team to be available. We don't have the best player in the world playing the most important position in sports…no one should be shocked that the last couple teams that had those guys (Brady/mahomes) have won like 70% of the SBs over the last decade. IF you don't have that dude, you need everyone else to make it work and when those guys can't get on the field. It's over.

They got their ass beat in heartbreaking fashion last year. Have you seen the YouTube video(s) on that those last 10 minutes of the game ? After Carlson misses that FG ? They show sideline cams and the Packers players are pouting, almost crying. I'm sure that's been lingering on their minds. We could've sent out a team of monkeys, lost 99-0, and their players would have been celebrating as if they won the SB.

my only regret is had we had some type of legit team that could make a run, win the division and get the 4 seed. We'd most likely be playing them at home in the wildcard game. With our roster at full strength (minus BA)….I think we would wreck Jordan Love and make them cry all over again.

but alas….not to be. Not with this team. Not with this coach.

Injuries are apart of the game. Constant b***hing and complaining about them after every loss is pathetic.

so what is it you do in here everyday? You act like SF is suppose to put up elite numbers and be magical without some of their best players…why do you keep thinking talent and players don't matter? Have you ever played a competitive sport in your life? Christ we saw what this team could do last yr when guys stayed on the field. They were tossing up 30 a game and crushing teams.

The lack of perspective is insufferable in here. Now that's not to say that Kyle can't have fingers pointed at him. He absolutely should. Acting like SF is suppose to smash a good packers team without a handful of their pro-bowlers is ridiculous. You're just upset you can't blame one person for all the problems because that's the easy thing to do

this isn't college.. if you lose multiple starters for multiple games, it's not going to end well

to pretend it is, is not being genuine

This coach has consistently beat the packers (among other teams). This team doesn't have its dudes and even the alphas that we do have are playing horrible….that trickles down and affects everyone. Injuries have piling up and it's a repeat of the 2020 season unfortunately.

Kyle needs to take a hard look in the mirror and also understand even with a lot of his guys, this hasn't been the results we should expect. Things need to change this off season. I would start with a new ST coach (we've lost multiple games so far because of them) and I would take a hard look at Forrester. I'm not a fan of his developing philosophy. Bring in a DC that can put some fire under this defense's ass. Bring in some fresh minds to add to the mix on offense. Build up the trenches and have another good draft
This game ended up about like I expected. I said it could get ugly and it did. The Niners were without too many key players. The O line is average even with Williams. Without him it's terrible. The defensive line was a shamble. No Bosa. No Hargrave. Elliot went out during the game.

This was a very predictable outcome.

Agree with everything. 49ers with key injuries were bound to have a game like this, why are people so surprised!!!!
Who is ready for Kyle/Lynch to pass on another first round OL?

Will you be happy with another mcglinchy?
Injuries aren't an excuse, because even with a damn near perfect season last year it was the same result. If Kyle can't get it done with the most talent against a KC team that wasn't firing on all cylinders why do people think he can get it done next year or the year after with old uninspired players?
Man Packers -1.5 with or without Purdy was a lock. Not gonna have that same kind of betting luck with the Bills BUT -6 right now is looking great.

Sundays forecast is low 30's and snow.
