How would Dobbs have done against the pack?

I don't know if Dobbs could've won that, but in my opinion, he would've done way better than Allen
RGIII offense with Dobbs would have put up more points! Too bad Kyle ain't doing it ever again!

The Vikings benched Dobbs in favor of a Nick Mullens last year. He had a couple good games with Arizona but was atrocious the rest of the time. Neither him nor Allen are the answer but if Purdy is out for any length of time then the season is over. You got people up in here calling out for Daniel Jones, the guy the Giants finally accepted was basically a more athletic Blaine Gabbert.
My money is better than Allen..but how would we know? Didn't get one snap even after Allen proved he was s**t. Ridiculous
17-24 loss. The defense had 3 chances to get a turnover and couldn't get one, plus the ST penalties were devastating.
Dobbs at least has the legs to run well. What the hell does Allen have? Dobbs was pretty good on the Cards, wasn't he for a while? Had some good shots to Hollywood, impressive runs. I haven't seen hardly anything from Allen that makes him a good qb..those plays in the red zone were nice but ..ugh total crap. And no, I don't want Danny Jones..awful lolol.

I guess Allen had some good plays in Cinci? But that was a while ago. I guess I shouldn't s**t on Allen too hard..our team is extremely fractured. But ugh lol

Not sure Wbzers are hung up on Dobbs vs Allen. Deeper problems.

Need to score points, you have a so call genius at OC . Yes D and ST are trash, but you still have to score more points than the other team. Had a chance to do that today!
This thread is so sad lol

He probably would've done better than Allen based on his scrambling. We would've had a few more first downs.
Better than Allen for sure

He would have lost but it wouldn't have been as embarrassing

Dobbs was a better option than Allen. That's obvious. If anything we were all wondering why Kyle put Allen above Dobbs on the depth chart. Today's game confirmed it. Kyle needs a yes man, someone that won't think outside the box. Dobbs would have given us a better chance to win because he adds an element of RUNNING to the game.

but Kyle just can't get out of his own way. 2 Allen turnovers led to 14 GB points.

Well, I don't know about all that.I just think that Dobbs running ability Would've kept us in the game and if he was anything like his early Minnesota version, he could've gave us a shot at winning it

You've got two journeymen QBs that have bounced around from team to team for a reason.
