Kyle loathes playing rookies but he'll have no choice. This should put us back on the map!
We have the 17th pick in the draft right now. If the season were to end today. If we keep losing (very likely) we can get to about 10th - 12th pick. I think we can land a top 10 pick if we lose out. We really need it. But I don't want this regime picking it because they pick busts.
If we neglect offensive line again with the first 3 picks he should be fired and escorted out of the facility.

I'm looking for a huge DT, DE, LB, OL.. This should be a trench heavy draft and look for a young stud safety /LB

The trenches on both sides is what they need to rebuild. The Lions in particular are young, talented and high draft picks in those areas. That's a big part of what makes them so good. Because they don't neglect the trenches. On both sides.

That's the one thing that will never change about this game, it will always be won in the trenches.
It doesn't matter what offensive scheme you run, it won't amount to nothing if your line sucks.
The same applies to defense. It doesn't matter what defensive scheme you run, it won't amount to anything if your line can't generate pressure.

The problems with the 49ers will not be fixed by a mid-round draft pick and some cheap free agents. The team is old, slow, overrated, underperforming and burdened by fat contracts for underachieving players. Compound the lack of reliable output on the field with an overrated boy genius/nepo baby who isn't scaring
anyone with his gameplanning.
When this season is over Trent Williams should retire, Samuel and McCaffrey should be traded, and the remainder of this scrub offensive line should be dragged off to the glue factory. The 49ers need an LT, LG (as Banks will likely be gone), C, and RT and they need them
yesterday. What sense does it make to overpay Purdy by millions and put him behind a 50-cent O-line?
I know Jed York isn't likely to let Shanahan and Lynch go this offseason, but the defensive and special teams coordinators and all their coaches should have already freshened up their resumes. Fire the lot of them. It wouldn't break my heart to see Shanahan and Lynch gone, but I am also sure the Yorks don't want to pay Shanahan not to coach for the next three years.
The 49ers are about to become a mediocre-to-bad football team. Especially if Shanahan and Lynch are still running the show next year.

Team is old and too top heavy with bad superstars. Deebo needs to go. Williams is still really good but clearly lost a step. Purdy regressed. Dline is washed. CMC is washed. Juice is done. Warner hasn't looked good in last 3 or 4 games. Who else? Only Kittle, JJ and Lenoir look good

Re-tool? Why they need to have a fire sale? I think they're going to want to move a few people out and replace them with younger players. Deebo is the most obvious one but his contract makes that idea somewhat less palatable.
They need to address both the lines in the off-season. They need another Puni on the offensive line. And they really need to find a pass rusher and a run stuffer on the defensive line. Teams are pushing the 9ers around right now and that's not good. Needs to be fixed.

Wholesale change is required. Won't happen, but it's needed. The Brock injury has the potential to bring us right back to where we started. I hope it's not that serious but the reports have been concerning. Let's just assume he is ok and his throwing arm is not permanently damaged… needs. New hc. New oc. New dc. New stc. Dump Deboo. Trade cmc. Cut bell. Cut juice. Rebuild both lines. Reload for the next 3 years. This team in its current state is trash. Trash belongs outside on the curb.. it will be a longtime before we contend.

I don't get why everyone is going doom & gloom, wanting to overhaul is nuts, we really want to go back to pre 2017 when we had Chip Kelly, Jim Tomsula as the HC? Or Baalke as GM? A guy who never spent, and now Jags fans want him gone.
Do we really want another relationship like we had with Harbaugh & Baalke, I hear people online(X/Twitter) saying Harbaugh would win a title with this roster, 49ers fans saying this s**t, yet he had as good, if not better roster, especially defensively, and couldn't get the job done either, refused to give Gore the ball on our last drive, never had a designed Kap run, 4 throws I think it was, no creativity, kept that tool Roman as OC, oh and let's not forget the stars who retired in 2014, Willis, J.Smith, also not like Baalke could draft any better than Lynch did, look at his 2012 draft, none of those picks made any f**king sense, I'm so sick of hearing people b***h, moan, and complain about Lynch when he's built a contender, 2024 isn't our year, big deal, you just need to retool, bring in a new DC & ST Coordinator, this is 2020 all over again, injury after injury after injury, those saying Brock has regressed & is injury prone, news flash everyone is f**king injury prone, our bodies were never meant to take this kind of punishment.
Sick of all of this nonsense on here, and X/Twitter, once something goes wrong, the usual reaction is to FIRE FIRE FIRE, I swear I now know why they call us the Forty Whiners.
Our stars like Brock, Warner, Bosa, Deebo, Aiyuk, Juice, Kittle are fine, this as I said is 2020 all over again, and those who want to blow this team up, cap wise, you're f**king nuts, sure go back to the pre Harbaugh era, hell pre Nolan era, does anyone even remember those days? Cutting everyone just to get under the cap, cutting guys with big deals only will mess their cap up, even if they did it, once we lose a game, you're all gonna b***h, want someone FIRED, Jesus Christ, do you guys really realize that football isn't something that affects your real, everyday life, and if it does then damn you have issues, I don't let losing from any of my teams get to me, life is too damn short to dwell about a f**king game.
So sick of this s**t, people need to get a life, not let a game effect you so much, trust me I was like this, when we fired Harbaugh, hired Tomsula, I went nuts on here, then let it get to me, every loss sucked, but you know what, it didn't effect my real life or my problems, ones that f**king matter/mattered, idk how old all of you guys are, but seriously people need to grow the f**k up, sorry to be the one to say this, but that's how it has to me, how I feel, I love my teams, don't get me wrong, I watch all games, it's an outlet to get me away from my everyday problems, but I don't let it effect me, simple as that.

Come on, it takes a 30 second google search to know that getting rid of Deebo, Kittle, CMC, and Trent all at once would basically remove 60+ million in cap. Not free up - we would lose more than 60mil in cap space.
We're going to have to hope that our draft class this year is what we hope they are and then nail it again next year.
Re-sign Greenlaw, hope Green can fill Ward's spot, hope Mustapha can fill Hufanga's spot (if he isn't willing to return on a decent deal for us). That's how we're going to have to get cheaper and younger.
We've got 38 signed and something like 10-11 draft picks projected and we nearly always bring back all our non-UFA's. We've already got close to a 53 man roster, we just need this years and next years rookies to plug a few holes or manage the cap to get a few better than bargain basement signings to plug other holes.
We'll be fine.

This isn't madden you can just cut a bunch of players you just gave extensions or restructured in a yr.
build through the draft and sign good/cheaper vets.
IF Brock is the one, he SHOULD elevate any lost talent because of his massive deal.

Does a hobby horse have wooden lips? The roster old, and brittle and top heavy contractually. They need to eat it for about 3 years and trim the fat. Purdy could be the quarterback if he agrees to the league minimum while they re-stock the trenches. They need to stop drafting wide receivers in the first round and get rid of unproductive players that can't block or tackle. Hire a better scouting director. Coach needs a new scheme everyone and their brother knows your old plays and get rid of the fullback period. What was once an additional blocker has become a liability in terms of weaponry.
