build through the draft and sign good/cheaper vets.

IF Brock is the one, he SHOULD elevate any lost talent because of his massive deal.

Bum elbow
Bum shoulder

not sure how much more that arm can elevate
Team will be fine if they invest in the lines. Their oline philosophy has failed. They have been willing to invest in the dline but their picks havent worked out as much as they'd like for sure.

Do you even know what bum means? If he had a bum elbow do you think he'd be able to throw a football? Not surprised here at all coming from you.

Does a hobby horse have wooden lips? The roster old, and brittle and top heavy contractually. They need to eat it for about 3 years and trim the fat. Purdy could be the quarterback if he agrees to the league minimum while they re-stock the trenches. They need to stop drafting wide receivers in the first round and get rid of unproductive players that can't block or tackle. Hire a better scouting director. Coach needs a new scheme everyone and their brother knows your old plays and get rid of the fullback period. What was once an additional blocker has become a liability in terms of weaponry.

You need to worry about your favorite team the Seahawks who finally have to play some good teams. Clown.
Keep 10ish players past their current contracts and let the rest walk. Need to get better younger talent.
rebuild the DL and the OL

re-tool everywhere else
Going into next year it looks like, all off the top of my head. I could be missing some

Purdy
CMC-Mason(RFA)- Guerendo- Juice
Aiyuk(ACL)-Deebo(Cut Candidate)-Jennings-Ricky -Cowing
Kittle- Nobody
Williams - Moore(UFA)
No LG Bartch(FA)
Brendal (Please God No)
Puni
McKivitz

Bosa- Gross Matos- Sam O(?)
Hargrave (Cut Candidate)- Davis
Collins-Elliot
Floyd-Beal-Jackson

Warner
Winters Greenlaw (UFA)
Bethune

Lenior
Green
Luter Ward (VOID)

Brown
Mustapha Hufanga (FA)

Overall I think they need a soft rebuild. LG, C, RT, CB, DL, LB, FS, WR are too big of question marks to say retool but they have too much talent to say full blown rebuild
You cant have holdouts, offseason no shows, players constantly watching instead of participating in TC and for some completely no shows in the offseason. CMC or B A or TW, can own this disappointing season. They are suppose to leaders....not entitled and selfish. Take some ownership. You are apart of the problem

Swap LG for RG and these are the same positions of need we ended last season with

Yeach it's very similar. They attempted to fix a few things. Got a RG but then LG struggled. Drafted a WR but unfortunately he missed most of the offseason and then was shot so now he is behind, Deebo fell off like many thought and Aiyuk tore his ACL. They signed several DL but injuries and not getting production from the healthy ones. Drafted a CB who looks like a hit but will most likely lose Ward. At FS Brown just isn't it

Center, DT, DE, Safety are the only major must fill spots.
guard, TE, Slot cb, ILB are secondary needs.

When healthy this team still has more talent than about 70% of the league. Its not the uphill battle whiny fans are making it.
Couple big solid players on the interior lines and a draft focused in that same area and we are right back where we need to be.
Did Drake Jackson just quit? WTF no updates, no progress reports? Just nothing?
As just an outsider, even with injuries and aweful personal family tragedies, it feels like there is a lot of "quit" going on. Maybe the truth has set in but not a usable excuse which makes me think what is happening behind the scenes.

As far as some of the awful family issues, and they are horrible, only speaking for my company policy, you are allowed two weeks off if an immediate family member issue/passing. One week if like a grandma etc.

The team just feels out to vacation already with many weeks to go.

When you have Practice Squad players starting in key spots on both sides of the ball it looks pretty bad. Not to mention our best players on both sides of the ball are playing hurt, Purdy, Kittle, Williams, Bosa, Mcafferey, Warner, Ward, Demo. We have an All-Star teams worth of players battling through injury.
