DC & STC Candidates

If we don't get Saleh we are screwed. Staley was great as a DC but he had so much talent in LA. We have a lot on D too but damn.

Embarrassingly bad process by the 9ers. No more scapegoating the DC Kyle you have had 3 straight chances to get the right guy and this time ample proven guys and time. I won't defend him anymore when he is back hiring a 4th guy in 4 years. Hope to god saleh is coming because that's basically the only known hope right now

The panic here is real.

Gonna be surprised to see anyone post here next week with all the suicides by 49er fans today.

You might still get the 4th guy in 4 years even with Saleh, and this coming year seems like a transition year on defense more than a bounce-back. We need a lot of players.

From the outside looking in, it seems we aren't doing our due diligence. Hopefully it's just a case of lack of information.

Kyle's ego will f**k this DC search and this team…if it hasn't done so already

I think everyone is sick of them hiring a new DC every year and Kyle scapegoating them. With him basically not putting any effort (at least publicly) into a plan B people won't be on his side anymore. He had his chance to do a thorough investigation and he blew it

The DC candidates are beginning to drop like flies. Allen no doubt will go to the Bears. Lou has been hired. It's Saleh or Staley now 100%.

Eberflus would be a good hire, but it's gonna be Saleh😉

If we lose Greenlaw... you have to think, the only players known on our defense are Bosa, Warner, and Lenoir.

And we're about to give Brock $60mill... so it's not like we are going to be on a spending spree anytime soon on defense.

And having to work under Kyle, with his 2025 reputation.... not his reputation from 2019-2021, years ago.

I mean he fired a DC who held the F'n Chiefs to 3pts in the first half of the Super Bowl.. 13pts in three QTRs.

And then he fired his replacement after just one season.

Maybe this position is desired, as it once was.

Well damn this is who I wanted...

So with him gone, Allen maybe gone, Salah maybe taking a HC Gig or proving himself as a DC with a different team.....who is left?
