You also have to look at the GM and owner. Trent Baalke has manipulated his way in Jacksonville the same way he did in SF. He is going to hire a yes coach. Will Coen pull a Ben Johnson and stay with Bucs another year? Possibly. Khan is oblivious and Saleh is the type of guy to work with Baalke.

I agree, though he might in a year or two if things go well for us, so that is a bit of a concern.

I don't know if Saleh would work with Baalke. He just came from experiencing a troublesome front office, and he has people in SF who can tell him the inside scoop on Baalke.

He certainly wouldn't be going into it blind if he chooses that path.

Baalke isn't hiring the coach. He's been benched. The process is being run by Shad Khan, the owner.
