Why tf did we not make any attempt at bringing in the #1 STC in the NFL? Why did we not look at rizzi?
I mean I need answers. It seems ridiculous if we really wanted to upgrade.
At this point I'm Tabor or bust. I'd be OK with the younger guys who interviewed if it meant no Sorensen.

I was okay with firing Sorensen but they should have had a good idea that they would be able to sign whoever they were targeting as his replacement. This is a classic mistake that teams make. They often end up with whoever is left when the dust settles. I know they still want Saleh but he's in the running for at least 2 HC jobs.

This is where I'm at. I don't hate the thought of promoting some of the younger assistants for an opportunity. Id prefer that over just handing it to Sorenson.
With that said Tabor is my top choice since they didn't go after Fassel or Rizzi. Tabor is still a really good special teams coach with respect in the league. Id be happy with him.

Brant Boyer from the Jets would be my next preferred candidate for special teams. In spite of the Jets crappiness he has run very good special teams units consistently. I have no idea what his contract status is though or if he even wants to leave New York but he worked under Saleh for several years.
A package of him and Saleh would be turning a frown upside down.
