I'd love Schwartz, but doubt he'd be interested in being a 49er based on his history. The Jets D has performed poorly under Ulbrich so while I like his ties to the team I don't believe he'd be an upgrade.

ST coach. High energy guy, has coached some really good special teams.

They can replace both guys but until they get better players the results won't change much. We all know where the weak spots are.

I'm on the new defensive scheme train. Our run d has struggled since defo was traded. Don't think the wide 9 run scheme works against the big power running schemes that coming back into vogue. It worked better when everyone was trying to get smaller and faster.
I kind of want us to run a multiple defense like belichick used to run. We seem so predictable now and Flores defense seems to be doing more with less talent. Is one of bill b's sons ready?

I have been saying similar lately. I would need the x's and o's guys to chime in, but I think we are definitely a 4-3 and not a 3-4 given Bosa's skill set and Warner correct?

I feel as though Kyle might stick with Sorenson for another year before moving on.
Of course, I'd love to see Saleh return, but I doubt It happens.

Another option to consider, Darren Rizzi from the Saints. Good chance he could be available as well.

Both of the Matts (Barrows, Maiocco) are speculating we add Jeff Ulbrich next season to replace Sorensen.

Jets defense has looked bad after Saleh's departure

Yeah, after seeing that, despite their massive talent there, I'm not a fan TBH..

How about Matt Eberflus if he's fired? he had the Colts and Bears as a top 10 defense, and has lots of experience. Just a thought.

I mean maybe. He would probably be similar to Staley in that no one would ever want him as HC again I bet.

Yeah the more I look into it the more i don't like it, apparently the Bears players really don't like him.

They need to really retool that d no matter who the DC is. The dline depth is a joke and Fred needs help, really gotta hope Greenlaw next year at least returns to form

HC: Ben Johnson
DC:Jim Schwartz
ST: John Fassel
In the real world they won't get rid of Shanny so just bring Schwartz and Fassel and I'll like it.
