You would think that Saleh would be concerned with Baalke wanting full roster control and might not want to jump into a situation where he has minimal roster control.

How? Rogers kills HCs. Dude is weird

More like Schwartz I guess.

My guess is Saleh is getting Rooney interviews. I doubt he gets another chance right away.

His time in NY, he showed lack of leadership concerns. He needs to build that back up.

Truth to this in that he botched Wilsons development, but that's fairly common here as NY media are damn pitbulls. Think of Cohn x10000 on steroids and they all feed off each others negative spins because that's what makes them money etc.

Saleh is great with defense, but lacking with offense. Maybe he will ask Kyle to be exposed more to the offensive side of things?

NY media holds their coaches and players accountable. Unlike San Francisco, where guys like Lombardi are asking softball questions like "hey Kyle, wasn't it nice having Ronnie Bell see the field today ? I know he dropped a game clincher at the end, but where do you see him in his development and how he will contribute going forward ?" Derp questions from derp media guys…

Rodgers is a coach killer, but you gotta show some resistance. It seemed like, at times, Rodgers was running the show. And Saleh just kind of let him get away with it. At any point did Saleh point the finger at QB play ?

He needed to put his foot down or it was going to end up like it ended up.

I don't listen daily to media daily. I'm not a Giants fan. But there was a ton of it during the Manning / Tom Coughlin "glory" days (if you want to call it that), and they would chew them apart even in the midst of those SB runs. Not even close to the slackers at Santa Clara. Outside of Cohn who pushes Kyle's buttons, the rest take more of ho hum approach so they don't lose their press credentials…

Of course. The Jets f**ked up with both their QB choices. But Saleh did not call Rodgers out at all during his tenure, and it made him look weak…

So you just admitted to just talking s**t about Shanahan and do it every chance you think you got.
Saleh was less than successful as a HC with the Jets. He's either not ready or not cut out to be a HC. It's not esy to do but many of these coordinators and position coaches can't admit that they aren't really HC material. Many people want to lead but not everyone is a leader. There's no disgrace in that. Being one of the best DCs or OCs is a good job and can earn a lot of respect around the league. Probably more that being a medocre HC and certainly more than being a failed HC.

Cohn's questions to Shanahan are typically a variation of "When did you first realize that you are the most idiotic coach in NFL history?" so it is hard to take him seriously.

Again you didn't listen to the presser the other day clearly.

NY media kisses ass just as much as any other media outlet. Especially jets media.

dude no one is losing their press credentials for asking unfavorable questions. Grant would have been gone a long time ago. Cohn is a tool bag just as much as Lombardi is

Yeah, this guy is the most serious journalist in the Bay area.

We definitely need more journalists like him
Saleh is a terrible HC but I'd welcome him back as DC.
