I think the rule is he has to be with us multiple years, not only one season.
That's a dumb f**kin rule. So we gotta tell our coordinators to turn down a head coaching job because you gotta to be with the team for more than one year.
Just like the f**kin Rooney rule, another lame rule.

Saleh just makes sense at this point....get it done before California becomes a wasteland
Yeah I love him but thinking the same. I bet it will be someone new fresh. Not a retread. A surprise.

Idc if Saleh is here for a year, if it's a Superbowl year and we lift it up in Santa Clara, who cares?

The latest seems that Robert is the leader in the clubhouse with Staley a "strong internal candidate". f**k that just get Robert the hell back in here. Whatever else he is he can coach the hell out of defense, better than Staley

Why would we tell our coordinators to turn down a head coaching job? Even if we were to di that, you can't stop them from interviewing for a head coaching job. They will move on when the opportunity presents itself. Whether it's in 1, 2, or 8 years.

I'm surprised Saleh is that desperate to be a HC again to even consider that job in JAX with the same nonsense he just came from in NY with an incompetent owner and GM.

Just give me someone who can establish at least a solid defense with little talent. I don't see Saleh to be this guy.

I was envious while watching the way the Texans were overwhelming the Chargers O line yesterday. It reminded me of the days when the Niners put constant pressure on opposing teams.
