I know it's Special Teams but I still don't want that surfer dude anywhere near this team. I would be good with Jett Modkins too.

He couldn't get his defensive players prepared for a game. Players that focused soley on defense, and includes many top players. How is he going to do any better preparing special teams players? People that are either barely making the team because of ST play, or "dabble" in ST in addition to their regular duties. I wouldn't want Sorenson anywhere near the players, let him watch film or something.

Same. If Kyle is intent on keeping Sorensen on staff so be it, but please don't have it be Special Teams Coordinator. We desperately need that unit to get better and I'm not sure that would happen with Nick, although he probably had a lot more special teams experience when he played than he did at Safety, I still wouldn't do it though. I really think an outside voice at that spot would be beneficial.

I would hope that Modkins is a legit candidate. He may bring over some of that no excuses and play balls out all the time attitude that Detroit has that we need to get back to.

Surely if Saleh was interviewed for DC, he should have been signed immediately.
