I wouldn't mind this hire. Always had his defense playing hard.

Is this a good source? If so, good to hear - was hoping they'd talk to Allen about the DC role.

That is not a reliable source. They post opinions and their own thoughts. Sometimes right, sometimes not.

Thats not a reliable source but they were the first to post that DC and ST would be fired.

i think it was more of a "they should be fired" post

Yeah, there may be a few exceptions but always assume there is a Rooney rule.

I don't have an issue with the Rooney rule, I think sometimes people hyper focus on one person for a role and interviewing others just expands your knowledge of talent around the league and different perspectives.

I just hope we make two home run hires at DC and ST because they lost us a lot of games by being horrible at times.

Yes. Banjo is interesting. He was a solid special teams player but just started his coaching career, maybe a guy to keep tabs on for the future.

Yes. And looks like we satisfied it by interviewing two capable ST coaches only to have Shanahan piss it away to Sorenson.
